I've been playing Disgaea 3 )) Best game ever made (( and want to make a Mao moveset. Since it's a tactics game, you can pick any weapon ya want and I want to make his moveset with a spear but in the animations he uses a sword. Should I stick with that or would the spear be ok?

I've been playing Spiderman Web of Shadows and reeeeeeeeeallly want to make a Black Suit Spiderman Moveset, the only problem is it would feel totally unnatural to leave the original out, how should I do this? I don't want to waste his Down Special with a transformation, and I don't want to use...
