    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

open up dolphin, config then the gamecube tab, are you sure port 2 is set to standard controller instead of nothing? dunno if it's even needed but sounds reasonable

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

Did anything come out of this? Got it up and running and I'm now looking for europeans to play with =P

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

You are always gonna have a high delay europe - usa, 5 frames at least I'm guessing if they are on the east coast so if you want to play low delay games you would have to play against europeans. I'm from Sweden and would love to play sometime once I retrieve my adapter (though the first few...

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

http://www.harddrivebenchmark.net/hdd.php?hdd=TOSHIBA+MK6475GSX that's my hdd, which doesn't appear to be that good I guess (feel free to take a look, if it really is a bad harddrive I'll see if I can invest in a new one). Though what is it that is loaded into ram every session except the...

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

I do, have never made one before but I'm guessing it's somewhat like a portion of your ram that is always held and not deleted once it's no longer used or the computer is restarted? edit: made a ramdisk, I don't think it's the shader cache anymore, when I create a new shader cache the lag...

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

yea, same thing happens, and the spikes do go away once I have played on the stage for a while, just that it would be annoying to have to start out every session cycling through all stages and characters for a few minutes on each stage. It just isn't saved until the next time I start the game...

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

oh now I feel silly, looked for that option and could have sweared I didn't see any, thanks. Any idea about the spikes?

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

followed the instructions, this is what it looks like when I start the game it just says there is no memory card inserted, I continue anyways and nothing is unlocked.

    Dolphin Online - Melee Netplay

Heya, I'm having some slight issues getting this to work. Every time I play a new stage or a new character I get small lagspikes every two seconds or so, now from what I understand dolphin builds a shader cache and it should only happen once, thing is as soon as I restart the emulator I have...

    Melee Online: Progress Report

obviously I'm not serious, just that now I have this urge to keep pressing f5 in this thread... really grateful for whatever comes out of this

    Melee Online: Progress Report

their plan though is to integrate the functionaliy of that msngroup into the actual game lobby, and I doubt ip would be of any issue as even the p2pclient for project 64 has one (though I'm not sure if it's still working). On a sidenote I discovered this thread way too early since now I'm way...

    Melee Online: Progress Report

Indeed they do but then I have an option to not play with them, seeing as I now live in Sweden again (moved back last friday) I say I have a decent pool of people to play with once/if this actually happens. Also you can't get 0 frames online, never said you could, physically impossible, star...

    Melee Online: Progress Report

I stopped playing because I moved to Ireland whom just happen to have the ****tiest internet in the world making ssb64 online unbearable and also because I happen to find melee a buttload more fun to play than ssb64 meaning I would be much more willing to bear with the delay if it's melee. Also...

    Melee Online: Progress Report

if this will be anywhere around ssb64 p2p quality you will be going from 0 frames to 1 frame (obviously you will have to play people in your region), in all honesty while at times you might notice it, it's really negliable especially since there are plenty of crt tvs that have miniscule input...
