It IS possible to survive in space for a short period of time (like 40 seconds...and after 15 or so, you loose conciousness), but that doesn't explain how Sonic doesn't suffocate, as there's very small amounts of air at such heights. Not to mention how cold it is...

It only takes one successful disable to make one of Kirby's techniques useless. Speed as a stat seems more proportionate to agility rather than velocity. If it was velocity then Ninjask would be moving at Mach 9, compared to Pigdeot's supposed Mach 2. The Pokedex is pretty inconsistant.
