  • Hmm. I'll think about it. Good choices in general would be big TOs since they know the regional and national top players best.
Some of the Tactical regulars could be good choices too (e.g. Successor of Raphael), so yea.
I, at least, wanted to provide a bit of European information. If you explain to me what the purpose of a comitee member is, maybe in a bit simpler English than in the first PM (seeing as I'm not native speaker and all), I'd give it a thought.
I meant to answer your PM but I forgot it.
    I noticed, lol.
I just have no idea how to respond, so I might take a while, lol.
his music has been an ongoing staple in the soundtrack of my life for years. And, of course, sailing at his dances has been a fun past time for years as well.

I really do miss him already. I've been a huge fan for my entire life.
Sorry dude. This is my first time back on the boards in probably a whole month. But yea, I find myself doing filipino things randomly from hanging out with my girlfriend and her family. I didn't realize the spoon and fork was so ubiquitous but I definetly had my girlfriend teach me that so as to fit in better. Sad to say, probably the biggest thing rubbing off on me is taking naps.
Yes. I totally agree. I mean, I'll let myself be educated if I'm wrong, but if their only counter argument to my points is either "But [insert other character here]!!!" or "A good player can overcome weakness X", then I'll simply assume that I'm in the right, because they're not bringing a proper argument, but a comparison or something that has nothing to do with the character's potential, which is the player skill.
Mainly about Marth, but you yourself are modest, too.

I guess everyone thinks Marth is like a half-God because he has high priority. <.<

I mean, I'm not underestimating any character (except Pit, but that's like my trademark - ignoring Pit's existence as part of the roster :B), especially not since I was playing lower tiered characters since Day 1 of Brawl's (Japanese) release and therefore pretty much know what even the worst of the worst are capable of doing. But I'm not overrating them either.

I've seen a lot of character elitism here in SWF, which bugs me a lot. Not only the Marth mains, but those are the ones I really recognize as such.

In any case, I'll leave for bed now, so seeya~
nice debating in the "learning curve" thread

I saw where FMOI had put Marth as "low learning curve" and was glad that someone had posted on that.
Hey, do you have AIM, Facebook, anything of that nature where I could possibly get a hold of you outside of SWF? The DH members are trying to get everyone's information.
    Awesome job.

I'll see if I can dredge up some matchup statistics and other useful information that will help drive our point home.
Hey, perhaps you should paste your to-do-list in a new thread in Tactical so as to get the SBR's attention. Maybe when we lay out objective criteria the useless bickering about Meta Knight will stop.
I agree, unfortunately I fear I may have to fall to being heavy handed because it is being rather bothersome that he continuously strawmans me and then actually repeats things that I have already acknowledged an explained.
I wish there was a button to report people for idiocy.
Is itme or is thinkaman so hell bent on trying to refute pro-ban that he is starting to actually paste their arguments onto my statements?
Konami has announced a new game with Alucard as the main character for the XBox 360 and I think the PS3.
Oh, and he's in Castlevania Judgment, too, which is a fighting game.
Nice summary post in the MK Ban thread. I'm glad one of us actually organized the weaknesses in the pro-ban side thoroughly.
    A painting of the soul!!

Oh yes, I love Castlevania, it's the best thing since sliced bread. I loved it since the very first game I played as a kid on the NES, my favourite is Castlevania 3. Portrait of Ruin holds a special place in my heart because it was the game that brought me back into the series.
Order of Ecclesia is excellent. It's better than Portrait of Ruin (which I still like more) because it has remade sprites for almost everything (Portrait of Ruin mainly used sprites and bosses from the other DS game, Dawn of Sorrow), and was a new breeze due to it being a bit different from all the other Castlevania games until now, so... yea. Good game, truely, though one of the hardest game in the series.
Yeah I agree, i think anti-ban tries to play things down a bit when there really is no need to do so. Hence the arguments about Ganondorf vs Mk/marth
Oh, Emblem Lord was the worst of the bunch... not because of how he talked about Marth, but rather the character boards... he was like that place was some kind of Knight Order or something... I almost didn't know if I should've cried or laughed at that point, but I decided to go for the latter and had many lulz. <.<
Okay. You say Marth is where he belongs. That's acceptable.

What I mean is that I've heard so many Marth players say Marth is at least (!) Top 3 and stuff like that.
lol yea, I know. They're the main reason I stayed away from playing Marth more than just fooling around a little with him and stuff.

So yea... one of the first Marth main I like. I just hope you don't overestimate your character like most Marth mainers do. XD
Mainly, yes. I saw you posting elsewhere, too, though.

Intelligent postings + not speaking down or being a douche = awesome. So you're officially awesome, with the Spadefox seal:
Well, I certainly do not belong to any religion, so that can be excluded. I wouldn't call myself atheist since I do not openly deny that a god could exist (or at least that's what I've tried to convey), however I also do not deny that a god might not exist. As of right now, no tangible evidence can be used to argue that a god does or does not exist.

Still, I see what you mean about the statements of belief; that was the wrong word to use. I believe not that a god does or does not exist, but rather, I believe that we cannot know whether or not a god exists. As such, you could say that I am 'undecided', but I don't plan on making a decision any time soon, since neither argument (a god exists/a god does not exist) can be proven.

That is why I try to stay out of religious debates. Neither atheists nor religious believers can win in such debates, since neither side can produce real evidence that disproves the other side's claims.
Sorry I'm so late on a reply, lost my laptop charger cable for a few days >.<

Anyways, thank you for the advice :)

Oh and on agnosticism, my understanding is that an agnostic does not believe in the existence or the in-existence of God or any god in general, since he/she cannot prove it either way. I have never really considered myself agnostic, but that definition accurately describes my position on the matter.
He used to be that guy with the Pichu avatar if that helps spring any memories. I think he's a DH member too IIRC.

Remember back when we used to stomp Brawl noobs with Yuna? That's where I remember him from.
