I hated waiting for tapes to rewind! Especially the ****er who wasn't kind and didnt rewind when I rented a movie.
OH! I remember! It was a special Nintendo 64 promotional video that was sent out through NP. I mixed it up with a earlier tape i got from NP about Donkey Kong and the testing aspect the of the game.
Anyways, I gotta go to bed. I have work in the morning and it's one of those days that anything could happen.
Well...trailer/preview. I remember vaguely getting a VHS from Nintendo Power with various new Nintendo games and I thought it had to do with DKC. I am not entirely sure though. Maybe it was Diddy Kong's Racing. This was a long time back though so my memory is foggy.
It is! I don{t have it anymore but I considered downloading the ROM. I remember seeing a trailer for it in a Donkey Kong VHS preview when I was kid and I was floored by it.

Really? I remember trying to beat the single player campaign on the PC version several years back but IMO, it was pretty boring so I quit and went back to playing the online MP. :x (And I still find CoD campaigns to be pretty entertaining, sure the enemies tend to spam 9,001 grenades at you sometimes and I think that infinite respawning enemies are still in? Regardless, they'll keep you entertained for 6-7 hours. I also beat them all on Veteran difficulty.)
Eh, I still find killing Russians to be fun. Nukes/missiles also have to be involved as well. I kinda wish that Activision didn't totally **** over/ruin Infinity Ward. The single player campaign would've been different and yeah. (Don't wanna spoil MW3's story for you if you haven't beaten it yet.)
And you're sold on the Wii U? I'm not yet. I plan on waiting 2-3 years for next gen.

But aren't games such as Halo and Call of Duty more fun when played online? Online multiplayer adds more re-playability.
And I agree with you on the fact that most people on XBL are total *******s, this is why I'm in a XBL party with my friends 99.99% of the time so I don't hear racism, sexism and homophobic slurs from 12 year old trick shooters in Halo/CoD. =/
