    Supposedly some people are hesitant to legalize customs because of Extreme Judge, too, but the ratio seems to be at least 3:1 on 1 to 9s and Game & Watch really can't afford to be taking all that extra damage (less than normal 1s but still).

    I guess the issue is that despite losing ledge invincibility, the balloons force people to take a huge risk, when normally they wouldnt have to

    Is Extreme Judge really that much of a threat to balance? You're still gambling with pretty iffy odds, and like you said, that recoil adds up

    I don't think it is, I think people just get scared with the thought of more consistent 9s. Judge isn't exactly the easiest move to connect with, either. It's not especially hard but it's slightly laggy (about 15 frames startup IIRC). The hitboxes hang around for a couple of frames, though.

    Yeah that was weird. I think I changed avi's so many times in such a short timeframe that it broke the system.

    It's probably even worse that it was in doubles, and my partner would either hit them into me or hold them in place.

    Also just from reading your conversation with Ndayday I'm a little confused how you felt the pacing of X/Y was good up to the second gym. About a third of the game wss leading up to that gym, that's super slow pacing IMO. Then they had to compensate for that by rushing all the others.

    Dont get me wrong, it would be good even without that, but nothing short of max investment eviolite Porygon2 can switch in on its returns.

    Anyway I agree with you on redoing learnsets. Most of gen 1 needs to lose the insane TM compatibility since it isnt needed anymore due to the entire movepool not being like 100 moves.

    Nidoking should be left alone though to jeep its niche as one of two viable special ground types (why did they add +10 to attack?!)

    Delphix should at least get Thunderbolt, maybe Earth Power. Typhlosion should get Earth Power. Swampert should get recover. Aggron and Steelix really need Slack Off. Aerodactyl wants Head Smash. Barbaracle would appreciate at least Ice Punch and Waterfall. Beedrill should get Gunk Shot. Kyurem and Weavile need Icicle Crash.

    There are more but I dont remember them at the moment

    I WAS playing ruby, but for some reason I can't be bothered to finish it despite being at the league. Like I don't dislike it, but I don't like it enough to want to finish it

    Yeah I feel I'm starting to lose interest in pokemon too. I was pretty hype for XY but then it ended up being a huge letdown. Like the pacing was really good up until like the second gym then after that the game got really boring

    uhhh... the only ones I remember atm are Tristezas, Smash Researcher, Aiedael (Eragon was a pretty good series back then ok)

    Hm, well it just recently started updating again after a pretty long hiatus (I think it lasted like 6 months? maybe longer?) And a few days ago the author posted saying that its gonna go on hiatus AGAIN and some other stuff about posting a lot at once maybe

    So long answer short, idk if its close to ending in terms of time irl, but the story itself seems to be getting nearer to wrapping up

    I would recommend it, its a fun read. Though I had to "try" to get into it twice before actually reading it. The story is divided into acts and the first two times I stopped reading before I finished act I cause to be honest it can be pretty boring, but the third time I was legit interested.

    So if you do read it, dont force yourself through parts that are boring. Like I remember reading Acts III and IV and another part but since I didnt care about them and was bored now I dont remember any of it

    Quick question, how exactly are you deriving the KB values for the Villager frame data? I know you said it's equivalent to the Max Launcher Speed but I seem to be getting different values. What am I missing exactly?

    From what I know, the user Lavani mentioned gathering the data. If he doesn't do so soon, I'm fine with compiling it though it'd be great if you could clarify any questions I'd have.

    That seems like an effective way to measure end lag frames until something more concrete is given. Have no capture card device though.

    I dont own a capture card either ;_; I hear one called "el gato" (fitting right?) for the Wii U is pretty good though, and reasonably priced

    I'm sure he can get it done if he remembers/doesn't get lazy. I also forget/get lazy so the failsafe may not be so safe after all.

    I'd heard about el gato (very fitting). The price doesn't look too bad so I might get it sometime soon/later/never.

    I saw you like Villager's UTilt, too. The move has been growing on me; the hitbox is a lot bigger than at first glance and the first hit stays out a loooong time.

    If you ever want to play again, let me know. It was fun and I need more practice with customs.
