Actually, that's only true if you haven't EV trained. And even then, in the games where rare candy spam is viable, there's still the box trick to get your stats up after you hit max level.

I have an exam again Saturday. I think this TA is missing the point. -_-

Also, I found something interesting out yesterday:
My classes end two days after my lease on this apartment ends ...
Is there anyone willing to let me crash for a couple nights in early August?
I can't both pack for the road AND sleep in my car. O_o
I'm pretty sure you can stay at my place. Give me a day or two and I can give you a definite answer.

-Edit- Does Lavos are equal JayRexC.?

That would be awesome.
You have two months to think, so no rush.
I just wanted to throw this out there early.

Aaand ... my own color thing is beginning to annoy me.
I'll stop now.

Sorry for the massive delay in posting these results, guys. Anyway, good times were had throughout this whole crazy weekend and the epic Vro Zone trip, and I thank everyone who attended the second 2010 S3BO.

Thank you to Anthony and Ahmed for this opportunity. I really enjoy the community that we have at Purdue, and I will do my best to help continue it's growth.

We have had a lot of good smash this summer, and I know more will come!

what's the basis for "playing" a character? do u just say ya i play them, or do u have to actually use that character in tourney?

If you tie an elephant to a parking meter, you must pay the same parking fee as you would for a vehicle.

You just have to get people to perceive you as playing the character. If someone says your name and the crew doesn't think "oh, yeah, he plays sheik", then you don't play sheik. I don't think I used roy for like two months before the PPR was put up (other than my goofy-ass counter-pick to Brinstar) but I still got him next to my name for-freakin'-ever. Also, I've put more time into Marth than I have into Gannon, but my Marth sucks, so I don't play Marth.

... Also, Anthony's lazy, so once you get a character, you get to keep 'playing' that character according to the PPR long after you died and and they discovered your mummified remains.

EDIT: George, is there a reason your snail gif is only playing the first few frames? It bothers me.
ANSWER: Yes, there is a reason. Chrome had a seizure.

I appreciate the heads up, Josh. But wouldn't this have been more useful if you told us about it earlier? What good is it now? I mean, I already got the ticket....

thanks Fro. we are tied 2-2 in the past 4 days of challenges. I have to say our rivalry is pretty awesome and epic, and it is making both of us alot better.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town this whole weekend, so I cannot help you move anymore. If any stuff is left to do on Monday I will definitely be down.

It's also true for Giraffe in Alabama.
You have to know you're Exotic Animal Parking Fees, or they'll stick it to ya!
Didn't you learn anything in the Zookeeper's Ed seminars?

50 Terranite? Really?
I drew something in paint to see if I can draw digitally.

Spent 25 minutes drawing it.

At this point in time, I have spent 1.5 hours cleaning up the artifacts because I accidentally saved it as a jpg instead of a png.

=(

EDIT:
Lol **** that took forever to clean.

Fiznuck paint, man.

Eh?

Use the middle brush and go back and clean up the lines instead of using the pencil tool.
That way the pixelation won't look so craptastic because there's no pressure sensitivity in paint.

Yoshi in a Gannon costume, plummeting to his doom. He simply wasn't man enough. =P
Hopefully illustrates the point, but the pixelation still sucks more than I remember.

And I'm apparently terrible at noticing lines that haven't been cleaned.
I guess just draw really big and then shrink it down. That'll solve the problem.

You can't just get OC like a normal person? XD
Fine, fine, but I warn you - I don't actually know how to draw.
I just doodle something and re-trace lines until it looks right.
Layers were the greatest invention ever.
