@SSBF: Meh, don't really see the need to, only gave a quick nomination on the first day to get back on track. The characters that are in the pool don't need my help.

Or how about we just have Mewtwo and Lucario? I hope everyone realizes that is the likeliest situation.
Zoroark with it's Illusion ability would make for a more interesting Pokeball anyway. And there are several Gen 5 locations that would make for interesting stages too. :p

That is, if Sakurai finds a 5th Gen viable.

I mean, Sakurai didn't see any of the popular 2nd Gens to be viable during Melee's time, and Pichu was added soley to help boost the Roster by being a cheap clone.
For once I agree with you. :p

Lol, what happened to that other "for once"? :troll:

EDIT: I just realized that cheap clones sounds like "cheap cologne".

I do think Lucario and Mewtwo bring more to the table than Zoroark. Don't get me wrong, those two returning is easily the ideal situation for Pokemon.

Good, idea, maybe it can take the apperance of the fighter, and do random attacks the fighter does and run around

I think if Zoroark or Zorua are Poke Ball summons that do Illusion, they should come out as a random, summonable Pokemon, and do what they would normally do, however, there is no hitbox (or in the case of Goldeen, they actually hurt you for the lulz), only to transform back into their main forms at the end and laugh at the fighters before they disappear.

They are a random pokeball summons that transform into other random pokeball summons?

That's basically redundant

Strange, thought people would rage when I said that.
Nope. Truth is, most people want what you described to happen. Only thing is most people believe there is some kind of unbreakable Pokémon pattern that exists.

Mewtwo:

Want: 4.2

Likelihood: 4.5

It's going to be very strange. Mewtwo and Roy are in a very strange position rendering them giant question marks. Super Smash Bros. 4 is going to be the first game with an opportunity for "returning, skipped, veterans". No cuts were made from 64 to Melee, so brawl couldn't do it. But Melee to brawl had cuts (due to time). It's unknown because we don't know if Sakurai will bring back a veteran that missed the last installment.

My guess is brawl had the "forbidden 7" on the bottom of the "to-do" list and time ran out. I think he'll be bringing Mewtwo back this time though.

Predictions for Chibi-Robo: 2.6 :)

Nominations:
Animal Crosser x5

Most of whom are anti-Mewtwo fanboys, or at least come off as such.

You didn't read it all the way through.
They are Illusions, so for example, let's say, a Groudon pops out.
You're thinking "Great! This will help take them down!" only to find that touching "Groudon" doesn't harm your enemies.
By this point you're thinking "What the Hell? Why is it doing nothing?!", and then "Groudon" turns into Zoroark/Zorua, laughs at you and disappears.
Your reaction: "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

Basically a glorified, malevolent Goldeen.

Why anyone would want to pass that up is beyond me. Also DHD for AT.

Probably should take this to the item or Zoroark thread now.

One point I do want to make in defense of mewtwo is that he was the only character to be cut from ssbb that had a unique moveset. Other characters such as Doctor Mario, pichu and Young Link were essentially complete clones of the more dominant version of the character. Adding on this is the large out roar of ssb fans that want to see Mewtwo in and the data found in brawl It's not far off to say that he has a strong chance of being in ssb4.

The only strike I see against Mewtwo that holds any merit is the fact that he was left out of brawl.

Maybe Mewtwo was excluded cause it's impossible for it to trip with it floating around the stage. :p

/\ Lol.
Guess what I found out this morning, it turns out I'm not going on my holiday. My Parents who were coming with me decided the weather forecast was right and it was too wet to enjoy the holiday, and since they were actually paying for it, they've called it off... Seriously annoyed at this, but it looks like I'm going to have to use my 10 nominations to get Plusle and Minun back near the top with my 5 nominations tomorrow. Sigh... I haven't nominated yet, just so you know, I used my 5 for today (well I used them yesterday where I am) I'm going to nominate 15 times tomorrow (or later today where I am.)

Sorry for not starting the day on time.

I had to rush to work as I was late, so I had no time to check this.

I will end this when I get home at around 5 PM.

:phone:
Solution: Headache.
Instead of tripping, since it floats, Mewtwo gets a headache from moving itself around with it's mind, and flips over and falls on it's rear end. :troll:

Banana peels are a good source of headaches. :awesome:

It was a very painful wait. The leader of the event was gone doing other stuffs, completely forgetting that he had a game to run. When Mewtwo and the fans became impatience, hell broke loose.

Scathing attacks were launched between fans and detractors and they act as their lives were put on the line. Mewtwo meanwhile used telekinetic on the detractors that opposed it and sent them flying off the stage one by one. One of them, who had a bitterness for Mewtwo due to beaten by friends all the time with Mewtwo on the 1st gen Pokemon games, carried a knife to stab Mewtwo to stop the terrorism that was occuring. As the psychic Pokemon quickly looked at the man with a fearsome look, it took the knife, destroyed it, and then threw the man to a corner head first, seriously injuring him.

When people say that, everyone then panicked to the exist. Mewtwo shut the door as it wished to express it's frustration with the leader of this game about what was going on and why it was here. Now the leader returned, tired and appeared battered by work he had to do, found that the stadium was a mess. Detractors were being cast into their deaths one by one and the fans were living in fear if they would share the same faith. As the leader, known by many as Astro Star, ran to the stadium to see what was going on, he looked at awe at Mewtwo's terrifying power. Mewtwo then slowly turned to him, first asking why it was here to be subjected to pointless argument about it's chances of being in Smash 4 and then asked why he was running this game int he first place.

Astro answered both with one answer; for fun. As soon as he answered, Mewtwo left the stadium, swearing that if it did not appear in Smash 4, he would kill him and start a new revolution to take over the universe. Unfortunately for the psychic master, Mewtwo would never know that it was received favorably, receiving a 4.01 in likelihood and a 4.17 in want. Venus of the Desert Bloom was gloomily awarded five nominations, but he was looking down in devastation that was left in Mewtwo's wake.

Then Chibi-Robo walked in, unaware of the disaster that had just occurred, waving his hands to the crowd, but no one would greet him.

Day Nine has began! Chibi Robo is up for voting today. You may predict Isaac's score today as well. Today will end at 9 PM CST

@jigglover: I put in your extra nominations today since I hadn't ended the day yet by then.

@Ridley_Prime: I didn't go after Habanero initially because I did not think what would happen later on occurred. Turns out that I should have done something about it before it got worse and I'll keep an eye out for something like that for now on.

Chibi-Robo gets a 2.5 on my end. While he would make a nice new addition, the main problem is trying to give him a fighter-related moveset.

Nominations
1: Bowser Jr.
2: Samurai Goroh
3: Zoroark
4: Saki

I'm giving chibi-robot:

2 likelihood, 2 want

I have a hard time getting below 2, especially for likelihood.
I really don't think he has much of a chance. Isn't a high profile character. Hasn't had much games, or any games I know of lately. Maybe Japanese only games...?

I thought of a cool gimmick where he needs power, but overall I'm not familiar with the character. Haven't played the games. Have no reason to hate him though

Tom Nook x5

I'm predicting 4 for Isaac, though my want for him is pretty low and I don't personally think he's going to make it

Chibi? Idk. I'd rather have a rep from golden sun, or custom robo.

I give him a 1 for don't really want him (although cord gameplay could be interesting)

I can't really vote for likeliness. I'm not well enough informed.

I'm predicting a 4.2 for Issac, being an assist trophy and all

all 5 votes for SHY GUY

Chibi-Robo would be interesting, but honestly I think he would make a better AT or something, rather than a fighter. Plus he really doesn't have as much popularity or demand as characters from other unrepped series, especially outside Japan. His games also weren't as successful as Nintendo had hoped, although that probably doesn't matter too much to Sakurai.

Want: 1.6
Likelihood: 2

Nomz:
x2 Shulk
x3 Krystal

I'm also fairly excited for tomorrow. :awesome::grin:

Chibi's up today.

I do like Chibi, personally. So he gets a 3.8 in want.

However, he has little demand, and he is Second Party, by Skip Ltd. They're usually tougher to get, and with little (no pun intended) demand, I'm not sure if he'll be in. Then again, Sakurai's been known for wildcards, so...2.0 in likelihood.

I predict a 3.7 for Isaac tomorrow.

x5 for Starfy.

I'm not familiar with Chibi-Robo, so I have no idea, sorry.

But anyway HELL YEAH ISAAC!
I predict 4.29 for him.
Actually... 3.89.
I don't know. I really want him, but I guess 3.89 is more realistic. I'll go with that.

This is one of the main reason why I'm giving isaac a low likelihood tomorrow.

You don't go back a gen for mother or fire emblem, do ya?

I'll give Chibi a 2 for likely. He barely has a following and is probably better off as an AT. He could be pretty unique though, and that's what Sakurai looks for in a character. Who knows.

Chibi-Robo receives a 2 in both want and likelihood. He could have a cool robotic moveset that contrasts with that of R.O.B., representing a new series in the process, but he doesn't seem to be a priority at the moment, for Nintendo or the fans. I agree with N3ON that he is more likely as an Assist Trophy, because a shock character is likely to be more retro than scrappy little Chibi.

Predicting a 3.65 for Isaac.

I nominate Duck Hunt Dog x2, Groose x2, Dixie Kong x1.

No, for Fire Emblem you go back three gens and use that protagonist. :troll:

Honestly, I think it comes more down to popularity before relevance. Not to say that Matthew doesn't have a shot, but Isaac still remains more popular. Though I'd be happy getting either.

Although I don't think this is the right day for me to be debating this.:embarrass:

I did forget my Isaac prediction though. I'll go with 3.8

@PsychoIncarnate: I'll give myself the opportunity to counter that tomorrow when Isaac is up.

But anyway, this is Chibi-Robo day.

...and I have to give him an unfortunate 0.5 in likelihood and that's being generous. The big problem with him is that there are so few of these supporters and what do exist aren't vocal enough to make a difference. It doesn't help that he's competing with many other misc. franchises that have a better shot of getting in, one of which is Isaac. Probably should be giving him a 0 since I have a hard time seeing him fulfill the first criteria (must be something that make people want to play the game), but maybe I'll be wrong here.

That said, he'd be rather interesting to see in Smash and I would love to see him get a shot. I would give him a 4 in want.

I am predicting a 3.39 for Isaac due to detractors.

Chibi-Robo:
Want: 0.8

This guy was never meant to go around bashing and destroying people. He was meant to be a maid, and that's what he should be kept as.

Want: 2.5

Nothing personal against him, but I honestly don't care that much. I don't NOT want him in, but I won't bat an eye if he's not in.

Likelihood: 0.5

Sakurai stated that only Pikmin and Animal Crossing were newer series that he felt deserving of a character, and Chibi-Robo doesn't really have anything new or memorable after Brawl, putting him in the exact same situation as before.
Also not requested much, putting his already low chances even lower.

Nominate:
Waluigi x2
Lucario x2
Shake King x1
