If you live in BC but outside of Vancouver and Victoria then this is the place where you can get information or whatever. We cover a LARGE area but are very few because we are such a wide spread community. We naturally a very welcoming community since we have to put quite a bit of effort into getting a decent gathering, so feel free to ask questions or meet up for smash or anything else.

I really have like, NO idea how to find them other than posting flyers and getting sponsorship by SunFM Penticton. @__@ I'm fine with being Penticton's Finest though for now though. <.< Chances are the other highschool has something, and I KNOW we have plenty of recreational players, but ones that want to go to tournaments and practice and get better, naw.

Speaking of which, where'd you get yuor copy of SSB from? I tried looking at pawn shops around town and it was DRRRYYY.

I was actually just talking to someone about Pokemon Silver and how they'd get me a copy if I played with them. When I went to pick up the game, the guy apparently heard that I was a smash player and gave me his 64 with all his games for no reason. So yeah, it's pretty cool! haha

It's green and see through too, with good controllers and of course SSB which is awesome. You'll get to see it at MOST

I pretty much just went anyway that there could possibly be a gaming related thing and asked. I meet them often when video games are brought up in random conversation because of course smash is all I know about video games. Almost all are recreational when you find them the way I do though, like just around. The tough part is converting them to wanting to get better. It's best to totally destroy them and get them motivated to get that good so they can beat their friends. Tricky buisness though. :\

Yeah. I found a guy at work who's interested and quite into smash, but I can never get together and play him since he's the other electronic guy, and we're basically covering each other normally. Really sucks... but he's got a friend that's doable. Just gotta get together with that guy.

That sounds wicked. I caved and ordered an SSB off the web. I looked all around at pawnshops in the whole (Okay, not so much the WHOLE) Okanagan, but I got nothing. Glad I got it though. Gonna get good and raape.

Sweet, I'll need some good 64 competition at MOST if Taz and Brett don't show. Haven't been able to contact them yet. At least you, Steve and Kaelen are pretty good at the 0-deathiness.

Needless to say, waaaaaay back when I was searching for people in the million mountains and cities of the valley, the best 2 melee players I found were also from here on SWF. Of course you know how much Tim posts and how inactive Jace is, no wonder it was so hard to find people. lol

Edit: That reminds me, I tried contacting this Cyris_P guy about a year ago but never got a response until recently...you jerk Chris! lol

Cake/Steven does. He's the curly-haired small kid. Doesn't come on smashboards that much. He's got a lot of cheats on there too. We tried wavedashing in brawl ourselves. I didn't like it much.
