ok guys, this is my first tournament and I want it to run smooth and i ultimately want it to be FUN!!!

UPDATE: ALL the spots have already filled out in mere hours. if i get 32 people to sign up before NOV.8 it will be a 32 man tourney.

IF YOU CANNOT READ THIS, THEN YOU ARE BLIND. DUE TO MANY NO-SHOWS AND/OR PEOPLE WHO ARE BUSY THE PRIZE WILL BE CUT IN HALF, MEANING THAT FIRST PLACE WILL GET 1000 Wii POINTS. DO NOT GET MAD, AFTER ALL,IT IS FREE

You all will be sorted by lottery.
I would like it to be a 32 man tourney, double elimination. There will be no theme to the tournament so you can choose freely. There will be a 2000 wii points prize, allthough i dont know how divide it, the prize will most likely go to first place. ALL of it.
The tournament will be held November 8-9.

The date of the tournament will be 11/8-9. The time schedule will be the following:
The loosers bracket will be done after everyone in R1 does their matches
Round One: Sunday 11/2 : 12AM- Saturday 11/8 : 4PM
Round Two: Saturday 11/8 : 4:00 pm- 7pm (if everyone gets R1 done before Sat. R2 will be done ASAP )
Round Three: Saturday 11/8 :7pm- 12am

The Quarter Finals-Finals will be held on Sunday but, if all matches get done before you can do them afterwards.

Semi-Finals: Saturday 11/8 : 10:01PM- Sunday 11/9 : 4PM
Finals: Sunday 11/9 : 4:01PM- 7PM
NOTICE: If the tournament gets popular enough you will get another one, themed of course. the winner will pick the theme


1. 3 stocks, no items, and a 7 minute time limit, best 2/3, finals 3/5.

2. You only get to play as 1 character during the whole tourney.

3. Spamming, camping and all those low-life techs are allowed.(play to win)

4. First stage is agreed on by both players. Loser picks the next stage.

5. Quitting, restarting the match, stalling for longer than 10 seconds (like with Mario's cape stalling or Jigglypuff's rising pound), and purposely SDing will lead to disqualification.

6. Chain grabs, spamming, suicides (like Ganondorf's and King Dedede’s) and locks are allowed. No johns about players who do any of these things excessively. It’s YOUR fault if you can’t get past them. Play to win. All of these are legitimate strategies and can be overcome. Personally, I’d recommend counterpicking stages if you really have a problem with them.

7. You must have more than 30 post or/and brawl someone credible.

8. No moaning.

9. DO NOT JOIN THE TOURNEY IF YOU ARE NOT GONNA PARTICIPATE

10. Te first match HAS to be a NEUTRAL stage(FD, Battlefield, Yoshi's Island(Brawl), Halberd, PKSTM 1, Delfino Plaza)unless both players agree on any other stage.

I guess I'll join. I'm always hesitant to join because I never know if something will pop up causing me to miss the tourney. But seeing as how this tourney is filling up quick I'm sure you could even make a waiting list, just in case. But I usually make the tourneys I sign up for so no worries.

because.....good Question, IDK.......the THEME is my first tourney....lol so idk. i mean it is better with one CHAR. i made it themeless because people should have one choice and that will be a flaw..i think in my part. it makes it more unbalanced.

cool, i remember my first tourney it was against FATMANONICE and i lost, i was angry and a little mad @ him for beating me -with ness- i reflected about that and got mad at myself for loosing. it turnes out that he is the person i most talk to in Sboards.
