In alliance with the Deakin Anime Club, the Final Round for Smash wil take place at Deakin University (East Burwood Campus) on January 17! There will be an Atrium, and 3 Lecture Theatres for use in what will basically be a CW-run event in up-scaled venues.
TRANSPORT

- Connex - Take the Belgrave/Lilydale to Camberwell. Interchange at Camberwell for the Alamein Line. Get off at Burwood or Hartwell Stations and walk to Burwood Highway where the 75 Tram is. Catch the 75 Tram Eastbound and get off shortly at Deakin.
- Yarra Trams - Take the 75 Tram directly to Deakin. From the CBD you can catch this from the Flinders St./Swanston St. Junction. From the Outer-Eastern Suburbs you can catch it from Vermont South on Burwood Highway.
- Buses - There are buses that go to Deakin from Knox City, Box Hill and Glen Waverley. Check Metlink's Website for detailed trip planning.
- Driving - The same deal as LaTrobe. There is a lot of on-site parking. Enter through Burwood Highway in East Burwood.
TOURNAMENT FORMATS
- There will be qualifying pools and a double elimination finals bracket. The top 8 attending players will automatically qualify for the finals placement. All other challenges must place 1st in their pool to qualify for entry to the finals bracket. There will be 8 pools.
- Each player will be required to play everyone in their pool. 2 Matches per person. Results must be recorded as 2-0, 1-1, or 0-2. Accumulative ties will be decided by a single game.
- 3 Stock, 7 Minutes, TA on, Items set to 'off' & 'none.'
- Final bracket Single Elimination, best of 3.
- All games in pool play must be set to Random Stages.

Pokémon Stadium 1 - Every player is entitled to 1 stage strike per match.
- Final bracket will be modelled after the SBR-Brawl certified ruleset.
- Teams will be modelled after the SBR-Brawl ruleset.
COST AND PRIZES
- $5 entry fee - all entry fees go directly back into the event.
- $5 Singles fee
- $5 Teams fee (per person)
- Melee entry fee - $0
- Pot distribution: 60/30/10
- CW Season Points winner and Championship Winner will also receive a JB-Hi Fi Voucher up to the value of $50 and $100.
SCHEDULE
- 11am > 2pm: Brawl Singles Open Pools and Top 16 SE Finals
- 2pm > 5pm: Brawl Teams
- 5pm > 8pm: Melee DE Singles
- 8pm > 12am: Crown/DDR End-of-Season Party
