SSB64 Tournament/sideevent

WHEN:
March 8 2009

TIME:
friendlies: 11:00AM TOURNAMENT starts: 1:00PM

RULES:
Smash 64 rules
Double Elimination

All matches are best of 3, with finals best of 5.

5 stock, 10 min Time limit

Team Attack On(if there is TEAMS)

No excessively STALLING a match! If caught doing so, you will be asked to stop with a warning. If you continue to do so, you will forfeit the match.
Items OFF

Stages/Characters:

Stages available: Peach's Castle, Hyrule Temple, Saffron City, Dreamland and Congo Jungle.

If a player plays Ness; he may demand a repick if Saffron City is selected as a random stage, however if the opponent is the loser he has the right it counter-pick Saffron City.

All other stages banned

First round stage is random unless players can agree upon a stage

Advanced Slob Picks - Loser may choose the next stage or elect to go to random, then winner may choose to change characters, then loser may change characters

2$ entry fee
Teams: If there are at least 4 teams, same rules apply

With enough previous notice and if its a good set up im sure plenty of people will come. its a good location. ssb64 is getting alot more competative in AZ. i promise you that. if its a big enough tourny im sure at least 30 people just from AZ will show.

There will be another ssb64 tourny coming up soon in Tempe btw. keep ur eyes and ears open.

how to get attendance: host it along side Azn_Lep's ssbm melee triweekly at UCSD. Wait for him to announce the next date and ask him to host a ssb64 tournament concurrently. i would go

i'm a bit young compared to azen and all his college people

Why would that matter? It's smash.
It's a good idea and not doing it because you "don't want to" is pretty limiting to yourself
