I'm gunna assume your scrubbiness in school matches up with your skill in Brawl.

zjiin, normally i would agree with you on the setups part but it was definitely the brawl and other games creating the most problems. I played friendlies when i did because all the brawlers were basically gone for 50% of the time. Lain(who is pretty good at melee) ended his pool matches in about 4 hours when i ended mine in about a 1.5 hours. I never played more than one player in a row.

I also had to play the winner of two brawlers that were gone for almost 45 minutes(i remember cosmo and 18pikes playing like 8-10 friendlies during that time). Multi game tournies are fun, but inefficient. I'll give credit to Dark Kakashi for running it well, but it's still tough.

I played friendlies when i did because all the brawlers were basically gone for 50% of the time. Lain(who is pretty good at melee) ended his pool matches in about 4 hours when i ended mine in about a 1.5 hours. I never played more than one player in a row.

I also had to play the winner of two brawlers that were gone for almost 45 minutes(i remember cosmo and 18pikes playing like 8-10 friendlies during that time). Multi game tournies are fun, but inefficient. I'll give credit to Dark Kakashi for running it well, but it's still tough.

In the Brawl player's defense, they did tell me that they would be bouncing between both games, and i told them i would be very lax with their matches since we were moving at such a slow rate. This is why i wouldn't DQ them when people were complaining. HAD we more setups, i would have taken it more seriously, but the scenario was too ridiculous to demand anything from people involved in an real efficient tourney.

I'm only putting as much effort as the rest of your are.

Great tourney again guys no real problems aside from my doubles bracket sucking the only thing that stood out was that the last like 8 sets in the bracket were played on one TV which made the tourney last an extra 30 mins. See you next time, and I won't forget to enter sf4 this time.
