First of all, great job of running the tourney, Katon. I had my doubts about the venue tbh, but once things got going it actually turned out to be a nice place for smash.

-Doubles-

Cake/Champ: GG's in friendlies, it was interesting to see how CRUNCH and I's practice against computer teams would prepare us for real teams at the tourney. Btw I think Diddy/Falco works best for you guys, imo

Beegs/Glov: GG.. we should have cp'd you guys better though :O

Keist/Framerate: angry face at how bad I did against you guys, esp on pokemon stadium 1.. gg's nonetheless :O Also: grats on third

Capem/Fonz: Grats on first.. didn't get to see this game :/

Wakka: It was nice seeing you again, gg's in friendlies and pools. Those IC's.. grr.. I gotta get more practice against them as well as Bowser with Sheik (hopefully at WaB III)

Worst. Tournament. Ever.

Well, for me at least, the tournament itself I thought was great, and katon found an awesome venue where we will definitely grill out next time!

But seriously, it's the first tourney I didn't make it out of pools, I'm going BACKWARDS. Maybe I will just stick with ICs and try to get better or something, at least then I could kinda live up to my name.

Framerate - Man, your Jiggs just would not die! @_@ Surviving B-Airs on Brinstar at 130+ Good sh*t.

AZ - Idk what's more impressive, when IC mains time all their grabs perfectly or how you command those naners. Only way I could fight back was to shield bounce to z-grab your naners & that only helped so much.

Really nice tourney, Katon. It was neatly organized but till felt casual. Can't wait for the next one.

Nope- Grats on second and fun MM. I played so well in the first match then completely blew it (sort of like at C4). Hopefully I can stop you from owning me in match 2 and 3 the next time we play

Cake- I had a lot of fun playing doubles friendlies. Was fun getting to play your D3, too.

Capem- Ugggg…. Destroyed in the brackets. Great start to your Wario, we need more in the MW!

AlphaZealot- Another uggg… My *** still hurts from those bracket matches. I did better in pools but you were probably sandbagging. Hopefully I can do better if we play at WaBIII.

Sil- Didn’t play you in polls or brackets this time, but it was fun playing CF FFAs.

Beegs- Nice Marth. I have like 100s of games under my belt against Marth, so that can be really hard for you if you’ve never played Wario.

Framerate- Nice *** Jiggly. Grats on third in doubles

Champ- Played you in pools, brackets, and doubles... All down-to-wire, intense matches. Luckily I was able to bounce back and barely beat you in brackets

POPS!- Beastly job. Your Wario is definitely better than mine… But you seem to be a beast with everyone, so at least that makes me feel better lol. Again, grats on beating AZ in winners and getting third.

Schwa- Nice friendlies. It was fun just chillin’ with you and playin’ some smash.

Lou- Intense matches in brackets, even though you ***** in me in our MM afterwards (I was worn down…Oh the Johns).

Fonz- GGs in pools. I think the key to beating me is not letting me live to 200% every stock lol. Grats on beating Nope and Lou in doubles.

The Kiest- Vast improvement from the last time I played you. Awesome job getting third in doubles.

Shiranui-First tourneys can be tough. Stay next time for all of polls! The experience you get from simply playing people at tourneys is extremely important, regardless of how well you do.

lul sry to say but yea mk is that easy i used him about 5 times or so never serious and i honestly was so annoyed from doubles that well i wasint playing like myself but yes mk is infact that easy considering i almost beat you both matches and i well uhhh NEVER USE HIM....id prolly like you if you werent so proud of the same bs that every mk does its kinda sad really but eh **** it ill try to figure out something or just go play may lay

What do you consider almost winning? In all honesty your just trying to give yourself an excuse for losing. Metaknight isn't that easy, and if he is why aren't all tournament results just Metaknights after Metaknights? Simple because once you know the match-up and how to effectively fight it, anyone can beat it. and maybe you should stick to a main instead of trying to play Metaknight. Because if he is that easy, and you still lost what does that say about you? Stick to a main, whether it's Metaknight or Ike, or Wolf pick one and learn the match-ups. Don't just ***** about other people playing another character that you yourself can pick and still lose with.

Knowing the Basics of a character. Compared to knowing every match-up and what to do in certain situations along with perfecting their metagame is completely different.

Also getting frustrated or down on yourself, won't help you in the end, nor is it a valid excuse. You lost, now figure out how to win.

You should be embarrassed with that post in all honesty. I sure as hell would be.

I think what happened here is a misunderstanding. I think Glov took capem's comment "mk isn't that easy, huh?" as arrogance, but from my experience in the community so far, both Capem and Glov are nice people. I don't think Capem was trying to taunt/trash talk you, Glov, and I think Glov is hating on MK rather than Capem. Hugs all around? O.o

thats kinda what it is i guess? He first made a comment about MK in doubles when we played him and it kinda rubbed me and fonz the wrong way...w/e we blew it off. I wasn't saying it to talk **** or anything.

And btw, i did SD in each of the pools patches glove :-D

yes i took it as arrogance and well honestly im not ashamed of my post it stands the same sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way...it was intended to im a very nice person honestly but something rubs me wrong when punishing a char like fox with bowser in melee is a breeze but for some reason i have found minimal ways to punish a mk with even the fastest chars and its honestly a joke to me *hence reference to melee in last post* and lol at match ups thats why i picked mk instead of wolf....ike..... or even marth.... i know that if i pick mk then well as long as i dont fight a good snake or wario that i pretty much have the upper hand on anybody that would play me and i know matchups for mk i just dont choose to play him due to how retaredly op he is so ya can flame me all ya want i really dont care
