Musical Smash (new: Mew2King vs. Overtriforce)

I made up a new game (not really). It's called Musical Smash!

It goes like this:

It's a regular Melee match. Each player has their own "theme song". The goal of the game is to have your theme song playing longer than the other guy's. Your theme song only plays when you're either ahead by stocks or percent.

As you can tell... I was mad bored. But, at least, I had fun with the editing. :bee:

slightly off-topic, but I always thought it'd be awesome to choreograph a smash match to music; that is, combos and movements are all on the beat

A random thought popped into my mind as soon as I was about to click "Submit Reply".

What if (during your imaginary choreographed match) the commentators were either singing or rapping (depends on the song) about what's happening in the match along with the song.

The song's lyrics would effectively become the commentary for the match.
...It could be like a Shakespearean narration of the match... With drama and lulzy stuff like that. :laugh:

Aww. I got too impatient... I already used the Shined Blind theme, so I'll use Dancefloor Hardcore next time Zelgadis is in one of my vids...

Becoming famous just because of a random day dream turned into reality would be awesome. :)

you should edit a match from the ultimate set at Fast1 ! i believe the 4th match would be the best one to edit... of course im talking about dashizwhiz vs mew2king

edit : actually not match 4 but you should try one of those xD

amazing. i hope you find more matches where the lead changes 5-8 times or so. it makes it interesting. too many lead changes = chaotic but matches like SS v Taj were like...1.5 minutes of 2 songs separated. :(

still, a really great idea. hope to see more :D

Yeah, the Silent Spectre vs. Taj match was just one of those "I just have to do this one" matches. :bee:

Taj's Mewtwo almost being on par with something as deadly as Jeff's Falcon was just too good to pass up...

But, yeah. I know where you're coming from. And, whenever I pick a match to edit, I always try to avoid the one-sided matches. (ones where the leader stays the leader for like, over half the match)

Also, I'm up for any suggestions on good videos to edit. I can't watch as many vids as I used to. (summer and online school Johns :dizzy:)
