what is problem is that windows is recognizing c buttons at the z axis and not as buttons, i do not work with the n64 pad and thus do not know how it is supposed to be.

dmoogle guess what i double posted
For a second time, you shouldn't be doing that.

However, about your controller config, you can always configure it using another joystick with a similar controller, save that config and re-use it with another controller, that's what I do to configure a N64 joystick I have.

You have to use NRage, preferably version 2 or whatever. Jabo's doesn't work.

Diablo, go to "Settings" in PJ64k (should be under the same menu where the cheats and configure controller plugin is) and switch your controller plugin to NRage version 2.whatever. Then configure that.

This is the latest. It's not technically an "official" NRage release, but some guy got a hold of the source code for the most recent NRage plugin, and pretty much overhauled it to clean it up and make it better (since apparently the code was pretty messy). It also includes X-input support, so XBox 360 controllers will have no problems working correctly.

Just drag and drop that bad boy into your "plugins" folder and then do what Battlecow said.

Or just don't worry about downloading that since figuring out how mediafire works will take you another couple of weeks, and do what I said without the more aesthetically pleasing code.

You obviously weren't here when they spent days being confused by mediafire.

Plus the "cleaner" version is totally unnecessary.

I think they were more confused by what happened after they initiated the download.

That foreign pop-up box that said "Do you want to open or save this file?" was just far too much for them to comprehend.

@Battlecow

Oh, you're talking about those guys. NVM, they're excused. I thought you were talking to someone else.

For two kids who dont spent their lives in front of a computer screen, yes. Working mediafire was far too much for us to comprehend. Actually, for me to comprehend. Diablo had nothing to do with the download of project 64 and thus deserves none of the bull**** remarks people constantly give us. i get it. were not super genious' when it comes to a computer. get over it.

It's cool, man. These basement-dwelling reprobates have to have something to do while their latest batch of animated kiddie porn downloads; might as well be making fun of technophobes like us.

Taunt canceling is no different than dash dancing as far as your joystick is concerned. Since dash dancing occurs so often, I doubt taunt canceling will have much effect. Certainly is no where near the damage DI can cause, that's what you really have to pick and choose when its important if you're looking to extend controller life. So GO FOR IT! O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-Okay?

You're a technophobe, Battlecow? Everything about you is mad rednecky, except that you live in the Midwest. And you're not religious, I guess.

Well, technophobe or not, I think even you can figure out how to download something.

Technically using your joystick at all will destroy it, but how fast it will get damaged will depend on how strong/bad you press it.

And of course, we're just joking about the mediafire thing.

You have no idea how much stupid **** I went through to get PJ64k working. Then I spent like a year not P2Ping because I had the wrong plugin. I still can't get my damned Hori to work right online. I'm totally a technophobe. Luckily I have techy friends to help me out.

Not a redneck, though. It's not a spectrum... literary types, for example, are as far away from rednecks as you can get, but still usually pretty technophobic.

I have the adapter. I just can't get the stick to its proper console senstitivity. The best I can do is to calibrate in windows and then crank the range up to 100 and the deadzone to 0, but even then I can't really stick hop to my max height and everything just seems a little under-ranged.

When I tick the option to record online play either from P2P or a server (From Owna's client), the files never show up under Playback... ever.

I've tried ticking it before the client starts, before the actual game starts, and before the actual match starts. I've tried redownloading the client but nothing.

Any advice?
