Venue closes at 9~10 PM

Cost:​

Singles: $5
Doubles: $10
Venue Fee: $3

Singles:
-1st 60% pot
-2nd 30% pot
-3rd 10% pot

Teams:
-1st 60% pot
-2nd 30% pot
-3rd 10% pot

There are also discounts for the venue fee.

TV is $2 discount
Cube is $1 discount
Power strip is $1 discount

The discounts stack so if you bring TV + Cube or anyone other combinations, they add together. If it carries over into the negatives then I'll contribute to your singles fee.

Venue Rules:​

1. No smoking or Alcohol in or around the venue!
2. CLEAN YOUR **** UP! IF THE VENUE IS LEFT MESSY I DON'T GET MY DEPOSIT BACK!!!!!
3. There are tables by the volleyball court where you can eat your food but please do not eat your food INSIDE the venue. If you spill, I have to pay out of my pocket.
4. If you want to money match, exchange all money out of site of my father or the man who works there.
5. Don't be too rowdy!
6. There may or may not be a man sitting at his desk in the corner. Please be both respectful of him and his stuff.

Melee Rules​

* Stage Striking is in effect and first person to strike is decided by Rock-Paper-Scissors
* Items are set to off
* The stock is set to 4
* 8:00 Timer
* All sets are best of 3 matches
* With the exception of Winner/Loser/Grand Finals - best of 5 matches
* In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
* No player may choose the stage they last won on
* Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played
* The Ice Climber Freeze Glitch is banned even though it's funny.
* Jigglypuff's rising pound stall is banned
* Peach's bomber stall beneath levels where she is unreachable is banned.
* Masterhand is banned

I'll try my best not to help you run your own tourney to see how much you have learned.

Firstly, I like option number 3. $3 is much easier than trying to get everyone to bring food. I can almost guarantee there will be people who don't bring food. And what can you do to them? Not let them in because they don't have food? Venue fee is much easier.

Secondly, I have and should be able to bring a legit 15' cord 6 plug extension cord as well as my cube.

Thirdly, I believe...I can be a cohost, however, I don't know if I'm the best choice because I want to be doing a lot of friendlies all over the place if possible. But if no one else can be a co-host, I don't mind helping out for this particular one.

Fourthly, Jkun, I'll MM you $1.

Fifthly, can't wait to see y'all again!

Why would you even suggest trying to find someone else to run the tournament? That implies that you're still a lazy host and haven't learned anything from your past mistakes. You're supposed to do the brunt of the work anyways; that's what being a host is all about. Don't invite people to your house if you're going to make them cook and wash the dishes. That's what a host is for.

I didn't say I wanted them to run the tournament. I'm saying that if I'm busy manning the laptop and someone has something they need help with then I could help them out real quick and know that things are well and good while I'm busy. I worded that badly as I plan on doing the brunt of the work anyway but I don't need people jumping on my back for not wording something well.

The way it's looking now, it'll probably just be the old system of food (venue fee + pizza) but if anyone wants to hype up a pot luck then go ahead lol
