I really need to up my game. I went to this tournament making my 68 year old grandmother drive 3 hours to take me to a tournament only for me to lose the first two matches.
Over skype the other yoshi's asked me who I went up against and what stage, how I battled them etc. What they concluded was, I went to this tournament not knowing Texas regions main characters and not knowing their MU. Studied Snake MK Diddy Kong ZSS and Peach since that was mostly what I saw during friendlies.

Hah, sounds familiar. I drove three hours into town only to get 2-0'd twice in a row, but it was fun none the less. It was also my first tourny, so I dunno what I was expecting.

Second tourny for me but hopefully Steakfest 3 and S.L.U.T. 2 will be where I am better with Yoshi atleast. Also i'll be driving by then since driving school ends for me on the 30th.

Drop yoshi. Look at the kids at your your tourney. It was stacked. Even if you were a good yoshi you probably would have gotten beat 2 times in a row.

Man this tournament looked kinda scrubby to me. No dojo or dphat... sounds like TX real talent didn't even come.

A bit harsh and something I won't do since i've been using him in about every game he is in since I was 3. And not aiming to go high enough to beat M2K. Just play for fun and hopefully get in top 8 probably.
But to make you feel better and not look down upon me like I should be thrown away like some old teddybear, I use Lucario or Olimar as secondaries.

wow, if San(ike) can get those good placings with Ike, why someday some yoshi "explodes" and becomes "beast" and get good placings like Poltergust( I think that's how its written) or "blood god" LOL and be beast. I saw that Yoshi vs Red halberd and wow it was sick.

I was the same way until they changed yoshi's weight class in mario kart wii. Why couldn't he be light class still?!!??!?!?!
