I have recently returned to hosting, having just hosted my first monthly in over 18months! The format of my monthlies will remain the same, featuring both Brawl & Melee tournaments with singles and doubles! You're all welcome to come to this!

The next tournament is 10th or 17th December! Date will be decided on soon!

People can arrive from - 10am onwards

Singles tournaments start at - 12:30pm (You must arrive before 1pm to participate in the singles bracket)

Doubles tournaments start at - 4pm

Everyone out by - 8pm

Entry fee - £2 (This is mandatory, but this will also give you unlimited food and drink)

Other Important Smash Rules

Basic Rules

- The tournament will be played using a double elimination bracket. So basically if you lose in the winners side of the bracket, you'll be sent to the losers side. You can still won the tournament even if you lose your first set!

- Controller ports are determined by Rock-Paper-Scissors.

- All sets are Best of 3, beside the Winners, Losers, and Grand Final, which are Best of 5.

- The first game of the set is RANDOM. Striking may be used if both players agree to it.

- If the timer runs out, the winner is determined by Stock, then percentage.

- Daves stupid rule: This means you can't choose a stage to counterpick if you have already won on it in the set, unless you're opponent agrees to play on it.

- Stage Banning rule: Once the first game has been played, the winner of that game can ban one of the neutral and counterpick stages.

Brawl specific rules

- Meta Knight's Infinite Dimensional Cape Glitch is banned.

- If a game ends with Bowser or Ganondorf using a Sacrificial KO (with Flying Slam or Flame Choke respectively) and the game is tied, then the Sudden Death is ignored and the Bowser or Ganondorf player is declared the winner.

- Stalling* is banned.
*Stalling is defined as any action that deliberately avoids all conflict as to make the game unplayable. Running from an opponent to get to a better position is not considered stalling, but using chain grabs infinitely against a wall (excessively beyond around 300%) or using Sonic's Neutral B repeatedly underneath the stage is.

- All standing infinites are BANNED, this includes but is not limited too DeDeDe's infinite chaingrab.

- A ledge grab limit of 75 grabs is imposed. If you go over that limit you automatically lose the match.

Melee specific rules

- Just **** *****es.


House Rules

- No Littering, this is my parents house, be respectful please

- Smoking is allowed, but you must go outside the front (if you're smoking weed, then just go down the alleyway just up the road from my place lol)

- BYOC! (Bring your own controller!)

I won't be coming, and im a troll and anything I say is a lie, so that means that I most prob will make an effort to come...but then im a troll so you really have to reconsider that.

Overall though, I will make an effort to come to this lol

how much ive missed the LC guyz.....i will defo try and come to this...if its cool.

I can probably have a max of 20-25 people at this, although I don't expect LOADS of people to turn up, and all my past tournaments have had more people then the birmingham ones have ever had and have never encountered a problem.

I do believe we're down for a £5 best of 5 if that still suits you? Maybe best of 7. A fiver is a lot to me right now. But I'm confident.

I am thinking of June 18th, although it just seems very near, and don't know if many would be able to come considering the short period of time from now (over 2weeks).

I could do it during the week as well, but I don't know whether that might cause complications for others.

I will try and come to one of these this summer. Can't do June though.

That suits me better too, but I'll probably stay Sheik for both if you don't mind. I've got a secondary Doc/Marth, but they're not that good.

Yeah, Fox vs Sheik and Sheik vs Sheik is what I wanted.

I have just created a google maps route with pictures of how to get from the train station to the 94 bus stop.

I will create a similar picture route from Leicester's bus station, and the actual bus route to mine from Leicester asap.
