This event is going to be a little lighter than usual, so time for a change.
The event with the most entrants in that system, WILL NOW HAVE A TEAM EVENT. Thus one game for Wii, one for 360, one for PS3.
Games with lower than usual entrants will be replaced (Except for Tekken, TO bias game).

THE EVENT HAS A 48 MAN CAP FOR EACH EVENT!!!!
This is because of the size of the venue, and the amount of time I have it for. I am working on getting a larger, cheaper venue. BUT until then, there is a cap.
Yes this means there can be more than 48 people at the tournament, just 48 per tournament.
Also there will be no pools for any $5 tournaments. (Sorry Brawlers.)

GENERAL RULES
Bracket Seeding will be done in this order of priority or at assistant T.O’s discretion. (as best as I can based on knowledge of previous tournaments and assistant T.O.s)
1. Skill
2. Car Group (People who usually drive together shouldn’t play each other round one)
3. Region
Payouts:

Conduct
* YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN CONTROLLER and name tag. Any malfunctions or errors that occur are your responsibility, so bring an extra controller if possible and always check to make sure you're using the correct settings BEFORE a match is played. If a match is to be restarted due to controller functions, it must be agreed upon by both parties.
* Keister’s Controller Rule: IF YOU DO NOT OWN a system/controller for the system you want to play on, you must arrange borrowing controllers beforehand with someone that does. Otherwise, YOU MAY NOT ENTER THAT EVENT! In the case of multiple consoles, the “main” console will have precedence over the other. If two players meet, and one has a 360 controller and one has a PS3 controller and the game’s main station is 360, THEN the game will be played on 360 and the ps3 player will have to find a controller. This is all based on available setups. In the case that the main console is not at the tournament (say no 360s for SSF4), or there are low numbers, the T.O. will be able to lend out controllers. ( I Have 2 PS3 pads and 1 360 Controller with a ps2 converter for 360.)
This won’t be as strict this time around.
* Any action that can prevent the game from continuing (i.e., freezing, disappearing characters, game reset, etc.) will result in a forfeit of that match for the player that initiated the action. You are responsible for knowing your own character, and must be wary about accidentally triggering one of these effects.
* Dave's Stupid Rule: No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.
* Iggy's Stupid Rule: You may not pause the match yourself. If you absolutely need to pause, it must be done so at the consent of your opponent. The exception to this is at the beginning of a match to check control settings. Then the match is restarted back to the character select screen.
* No show DQ rule: After a match has been called, if a player is two minutes late he will receive a warning. At 4 minutes late, he will be given a loss for the first game of the set. After six minutes, he will be given a loss of the entire set. There should be no excuse for not being there when your match is called because all the food you need is in the venue for you.
Please come talk to me if you have to leave FOR ANY REASON. I do my best to keep the tournament flowing while giving people enough time to rest.
* Color Blind rule: Should a player have a color-based disability, he or she may request in a teams match to have a specific color for their team. This is so characters such as Lucario or Sonic can be granted the blue team so that there is not unnecessary confusion.
Applies mostly to Smash games.
* Wiimotes and Classic Controller users should know to take the batteries out of their controllers after finishing a set; not only will this save battery life, but it prevents accidental interference and delay for tournament matches. PS3 users need to turn their controllers off via the Home Menu after each match.
* Stalling is banned.
Applies mostly to Smash games.
* Nope's No BS Rule: By participating in this tournament you give the Tournament Operator and their affiliates the right to film, photograph and record your name, nickname, pseudonym, persona, picture, biographical material, voice and/or likeness and to use the same in any manner or media in connection with the Event to broadcast, reproduce, distribute and exhibit such photographs and/or recordings, in any manner whatsoever, by any and all means, media, devices, processes and technology now or hereafter known or devised anywhere in the universe at anytime in perpetuity.
* Seamus McFly's Sportsmanship Rule:
If a losing player ends the match with "No Contest" (pausing and ending the game before the victory screen) after they lose their final stock but before "GAME" is called, that player is subject to consequences ranging from forfeit of that set to disqualification from the competition. Consequences can be avoided by apologizing to the other player for robbing them of a victory screen. Also, Excessive displays of rage over losing matches (shouting, controller throwing) will not be tolerated.
In other words, be respectful to the games and the players.
Format
All tournaments will be:

Best of 3 games (except for Finals: Winner, Loser and Grand will be best of 5)
Please bring your own controller (some controllers MIGHT be available if a player does not own the system, but would like to enter a tournament.)

TRIPLES:
Players fight 1v1 style.
The loser of that round is replaced by the next player.
Whoever still has players left is the winner.
By some strange chance the last fight is both last players and results in a double KO, the round is played again.
Mortal Kombat 9 (PS3)
Winner MUST stay character.
No DLC/Console Exclusive Characters.
Best of 3 rounds, 99 Seconds.
GoW stages banned.
Please save fatalities for the set point (aka once the set is won).

Items are set to "off" and "none"
Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime. (Please ask me or any of the staff)
Order of play:
1. Opponents make their character select screen choices for the first match. *
2. Opponents start the stage striking procedure.
( “1” is player 1 and “2” is player 2.)
9 Stages: 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2
3. The first game is played, using the stage chosen during step 2.
4. The winner of the previous match may announce one stage to be banned from the
CP list and ANOTHER stage to be banned from the Neutral List.
5. The loser of the previous match announces the next match's stage from either
the Starter Stage List or the Counter Stage List. **
6. The winner of the previous match chooses their character.
7. The loser of the previous match chooses their character.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 for all proceeding matches.
*Double blind character selection may be called for the first match. Also, the choices made here include the character's color and whether the player will start as Samus or Zero Suit Samus, as Zelda or Sheik, or as a particular Pokemon for Pokemon Trainer.
**No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.
In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors

If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage. If there is a tie, then “Sudden Death Round” is played.
Metaknight is banned.
Standing Infinites are banned.
If a game ends with any suicide kill, (Wario's Bite, Ike's Up-B, Kirbys/D3's Swallocide, Ganon's F-B, Bowser's Suicide Claw, and any other ones I'm missing....) the defender adds 50% percent to their damage amount. Then whoever has the least percent, wins. In a tie, “Sudden Death Round” is played.
Examaple:
Ganon has 50% vs Wario with 10%.
Wario wins if Wario’s Bite suicide is applied.
Ganon wins if F-B suicide is applied, since 50 < 60.
If Ganon has 70 and F-B is applied, then Ganon loses since 70 > 60.
If Ganon has 60 and F-B is applied, then SD match.
Really just don’t get hit by these moves…

Character and Stage Selection is done by Double Blind Method. Stage Selection is determined by Elimination Method.

Players may agree to play on any specific stage they wish as long as both players agree. Players may also opt for random in which the game will randomly choose between the Starting Stage List (BF, DL, FD, YS).
The Winner of the first match will choose his character followed by the loser choosing his character. Stage is determined by the previous match loser on the counter pick stage list as long as he has not had a match win on that stage.

The Tournament Host/Referee is the arbiter of all disputes.
Timed out matches will be determined by the remaining number of lives, then percentage of the current stock. In the event of a percentage tie, replay that match. Any Sudden Death match is strictly not to be played.
Pausing is strictly forbidden unless a Tournament Official allows it. EX: Technical Issues, Acts of Nature, etc.
