Housing and Questions
Denti's number is 405-923-7133 if you have any questions. You can text or call, either is good.

Contact Dallas players for housing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denti can probably house people, he just lives 1 hour away from the venue so that would have to be a last resort.

Just wanted to share a few things with the tournament coming up soon:

  1. The venue will have snacks and drinks available for pretty cheap prices. Bring your extra change or a couple of dollars to help support our venue.
  2. The store sells a large assortment of video games, from the new recent stuff to the old classics. If you find yourself with downtime between matches, go browse their selection.
  3. The store often has families with little kids come in. If you see them in the store, try and avoid throwing out loud and inappropriate comments.
  4. Please notify me or Denti if you plan on leaving the venue for food and are in a tournament event. If the event gets held up for you, then you may get disqualified. (I'll do it too, seriously)
  5. If I call a tournament match for a TV, and you are playing a Money Match, then I'll kick you off. The tournament is top priority. Play your MMs before or after the tournament.
  6. Oh yeah, and have fun!

Going by the tier list is cool and all, but you might wanna raise the the point cap there. Characters like ICs, Falco and Pika kinda suck in teams.

Best teams imo:
:metaknight: + :ganondorf:
:ike: + :wario: :marth: :olimar:

This is supposed to be a regional circuit event. Change it back to normal teams. The idea is cool and all but leave it for a side event or do both. If you have set ups and start on time and people report matches, there is no reason you can't finish all of it.

Balanced teams looks cool.

Razer is just greedy. Wait but, if we keep balanced Razer team with me Fox + Peach.

Zac says he wants people's opinions on it, so Razer can complain if he chooses.

I'm not going, but I personally agree with Razer...reg 2v2 should still be there if this is a circuit event. Side event would be more suitable.

But again, I'm not going so la-de-da-awdipjhapwihjlkenfknlaswc.

Remember, this venue closes at 9pm. Doubles start at noon and Singles at 1:30 (more like 2). So we have to finish those two + the side event balanced doubles all before 9pm.

If you think it's possible, we can do a side event as well. If not, I will probably change it back to normal teams at $10 per person.

As fun as it sounds I also think it should be changed back to regular Doubles. This will be the last chance for some people to practice teams before the Circuit Finals so if you could please change it back. Oh and I guess it looks like Razer will be staying 1st on the Circuit Standings after this tournament unless he messes up like I did so if he wants to keep that placing he has to be playing really well and not let himself place too low because anything's possible.

I'm personally okay without a side event. There nice, but when your forced to finish at a certain time, running a side event is a TO nightmare.

Nikefest3 side event was run by Xyro because I didn't want to deal with the headache (it was at Gamelot).
Nikefest4 had a side event because it was at my house and I could take however long I wanted lol.

Completely okay with only singles/doubles. Still allows more time for friendlies and money matches, which everybody always wants.

I highly recommend you do regular 1vs1 and normal 2vs2. With the venue closing at 9pm there shouldn't even be an option for a side event/nor should you alter regular 2vs2. Also, this is the last real teams practice for the FINAL lone star circuit event. Please please please dont do any other form of teams other than regular teams.

I really don't want to drive 4 hours to team with a goddamn Ganon, Puff, Link, or Zelda (unless it's Jerm's Zelda)

Balanced teams sounds really fun. Singles and doubles should for sure come first. Maybe if there's time?

I might be going to the UT-OU game, which is the same day...in Dallas. Literally every year Dallas hosts a tournament the same day as the game. XD We'll see. I'd really like to make this.

OU is going to win. No doubt.
