If you've played Kirby's Epic Yarn you'll see it's really different from other Kirby games.

Yarn Kirby and or Prince Fluff could have great moveset potential.

Show your support :).

Here's a rough idea for a moveset

B: Yarn Whip (ranged grab/tether recovery)
B-side: Yarn Monster Truck (Charge attack)
B-up: Yarn Rocket (turns into a rocket and shoots up)
B-down: Yarn Weight (Like Kirby's rock power)

Final Smash: Yarn Mech

I'm all about the Fluff Man myself. I looooooooved Epic Yarn, and the idea of a character that transforms seamlessly (pun, lol) as he moves is very neat sounding.

Don't get me wrong, Bandanna Dee is fine, but Prince Fluff would be more fun to me.

I think we'll see traditional Kirby stay and probably not get a Yarn Kirby, as much as I like that game it was more of an off-shoot from the series.

I am, however, in full-support of Prince Fluff as a representative of the Epic Yarn game. After all, Kirby was just a visitor from Dream Land. Everybody loves Prince Fluff! :D

Prince Fluff would be the 2nd best Kirby newcomer at least. Epic Yarn was a rather unique and fun game. He kind of looks like a deformed Knuckle Joe. XD

One important difference between Yarn Kirby/Prince fluff and umm... cream puff Kirby(?) would be the lack of multiple jumps. He probobly have a more versatile B-up to compensate cause, let's face it, Final Cutter is a list ditch all or nothing deal.

Not here for these clone characters

Did you even read the OP? They won't be clones. it'll either be Kirby or Fluff in the game. I just included both to cover all bases.

Let's talk a Yarn stage. What do you want to see?

I'm not entirely sure about Yarn Kirby making it as a playable, but a stage that's based on Kirby's Epic Yarn could work.

I agree with an Epic Yarn stage. The game was really fun & I would hope for a sequel staring Prince Fluff & no Kirby. If Prince Fluff continues in his own series maybe will see him in smash one day. He might be an assist trophy in SSB4.

I wonder if there'll be another Yarn game with or without Kirby.

Seems this tread got buried. Luckily I took some classes in threadomancy on SPUF.

Yarn Kirby has a lot going for him for moveset inspiration but what would his playstyle be? Keepaway?, glass cannon?

I think Yarn Kirby/Prince Fluff (preferably Prince Fluff) would be a very light character, of a similar weight to Jigglypuff, due to his unsubstantial composition. I haven't played Epic Yarn yet (unfortunately), so I can't come up with a moveset.

Makes me wonder what would happen if Regular Kirby ate Yarn Kirby?

Epic yarn was the only game that was so easy, I got bored and never finished.

The art style is nice, but it's a pretty bad game

I support Prince Fluff! With him playable, we could have Yarn Kirby in the game without actually having Yarn Kirby in the game. The 2 play the same in their Epic Yarn, so all we need is one character, and since Kirby's in the game already, Fluff's not a bad choice. It'll be like having Roy in Melee but no Marth or Young/Toon Link but never having Link; they'd play the same as the original, but since the original was never in Smash they're technically not clones.

Has anyone thought of Prince Fluff/Yarn Kirby having an alternate costume of the other? I'd definitely prefer prince fluff on the title screen, but a Yarn Kirby alt would be cool.

With Yarn Yoshi in the works I think that the Yarn series will at least get some representation in Smash 4.

I want Prince Fluff in Smash because I think he has a unique moveset potential that would be fun. That is my main reason to support him.

Kirby series doesn't need more character at the moment, but if there has to be a new Kirby rep it should be Bandana Dee.

Bandana Dee to me is like Goombella, a one-shot character representing a common race of characters. Waddle Dees are the Goombas of the Kirby series and too generic for me really. Bandana Dee has only appeared in Return to Dreamland although another Waddle Dee played a major party in Kirby 64.

Bandanna Dee also appeared in the DS remake of Kirby Super Star but this isn't his thread.

I think the Yarn charcters have moveset potential and as a subseries is developing with Yarn Yoshi maybe Prince Fluff would be the best rep so that no characters are doubled.

Bandanna Dee has appeared in two games, both with big roles.

Kirby Super Star Ultra, as Dedede's main henchman and Kirby's Return to Dream Land as a playable character.

Prince Fluff is the one shot character. Bandana Dee is shaping up to being a big Kirby character.

if prince fluff gets his own game in the future, he could make it in ssb5. don't see it happening for ssb4, though

Was that him in Super Star Ultra or just another Waddle Dee character? I mean the character is so generic he doesn't even have an official name.

Are you sure it was him? lol.

I guess I prefer Prince Fluff because he is less generic and would have a better move-set. I cannot even think of a great moveset for Waddle Dee with a spear and bandana but I probably should check out his support thread and hear the concepts.

What happened to Knuckle Joe? He seemed like he was in more demand than any of the other Kirby newcomers back last summer but his support just died.
