Dojo what is the best way to get better? What does it take to rise to the top?

When you're playing vs a good Metaknight in the ditto, do you like to dictate the pace of the match, or do you let them and figure out what to do from there? A basic example would be if you consider yourself more defensive, just walk and pivot into an ftilt if they mis-space something.

2. Mix ups + mixup potential
3. Limited option scenarios (i.e. juggle/ledge traps)
4. Time-out strategy/strategies

Why do you believe many of the top mks don't really post/contribute to the character boards like the Falco/Pika/Wario boards? Do think people are tired of arguing/reading dumb ideas, personality problems, don't want to give away potential secrets, too busy, rather play brawl to learn than talk about brawl to learn, etc?

What do you do to practice (offline) by yourself.
I sometimes just play CPUs and try out different stuff.
I think about what to do in certain situations and on different stages.
I also do some techskill and timing training sometimes.
When I find something by just thinking about the game I write it down on my mobile phone.
Afterwards I try everything out vs. real people.
