Double post to say that there should be a thing for 2010 for just best general smash video so I can vote for Active Artwork and so that AA can win >_>.

But in all seiousness. The Axe Effect did have alot of running around because Pikachu can't hit characters up and down pillaring so easily as Falco, Falcon or Marth... or most any other characters really. The Axe Effect not only showed great combos but also great ideas and strategy.

Honestly, it was the most cinematic and definitely pulled me in throughout the entire vid, Mind Reader and the Axe effect, good but just didn't have the electricity and staying power.

I voted Mind Reader. Axe Effect was really hit and run, not enough combos, and the syncing, combo's against legit players and Darkrain fanboyism within me put it above IKM2.

Edit: watched Axe Effect again. It deserves to win.

scars video DEF had the best ending credits without a doubt and best overall cinematic presentation. Let it rock was amazing but final countdown and sandman(the first choice for the second song) were meh. Earth Wind and Fire was win and i can't stress enough how good the ending credits were. 8:40-9:00 is probly THE greatest moment in combo video history.


I never saw darkrain as flashy just the utmost effective..... I like his combo 1-4 videos alot tho.

axe gets my vote tho. his combos were unreal and the presentation was really complete. The editing was very clean.

I love Darkrain and respect him and I'm sure that he's better than Scar, but honestly he was the best thing going for that combo video. Some of that stuff I would've felt cool doing, but I don't think it was Darkrain's finest moments.

Then I watched AXE's video which was really good, and pikachu is different. Like fapping with your left hand for once. Different is nice.

Then I watched IKM2 for the billionth time and it STILL felt like making love to a phenomal pornstar who would have won gold in sex olympics.

Besides most people probably don't even realize that they may never see you to even get that dollar. Or as of that what are the odds you'll pay everyone who voted for him. **** I would not be surprised if people just came up to you and say they voted for him to try getting a free dollar

It's whatever. =/ We all know who worked the hardest on creating, editing the video..trying to make something unique, rather than something everyone's already seen... If that's what it comes down to. I mean it's whatever.. I'll work harder for Axe Effect II, ShadowClaw IV, hungrybox's vid.. Mango's if he wants a Jiggs one.. etc (any pokemon related char)

It's a bit sad, but i worked really hard on axe effect, i know harder than any of the other two, but it is what it is.. If Axe's won, I'd rather have it "legit" so I know if people like my editing and how I produce, if not.. it gives me motive to work even harder on my editing..

Either way I hope axe effect still wins ^^; but if it does i want it legit, i'm sure axe himself would like that as well..not by some bribe, or bias or whatever..

As far as WC all voting for Axe, it didn't happen.. I "could" go to each and every person on WC that didn't vote for Axe.. but that'd take too long.. AZ"s best didn't even vote for Axe. they voted for whom they thought was best, which I'M GLAD they did..either way.. 2 days left, hope Axe effect can catch up.

IKM2 had the best combos but overall, Axe Effect was the better video (presentation, editing, etc.). The combos were pretty **** too.

And I have mad respect for any low tier main, especially if they're good.

Needless to say, his video has my vote.

#3 I'm a HUGE Axe fanboy, but The Axe Effect just *seemed* like a pikachu combo video thrown together using a powerful video editing tool. Music choice made the video... not as exciting as it could've been.

#2 Mind Reader has also some great combos in it, but is *in Sky's voice* AMAZING in the way the combos were synched to the music; thus making it VERY enjoyable to watch. SO SMOOTH!

#1 IKMII is exactly what you want from a combo video: UNIQUE AND CREATIVE COMBOS! And that's really what makes a good CV. Some combos were synched to the music also; creating a nice smooth experience!

So I had to go and vote for I Killed Mufasa II! Good luck Scar
