I can't get video evidence with me right now, but it is very easy to recreate.
[Version] 3.6b
[Hardware] Nintendo Wii
[Loading Method] Homebrew Project M Launcher

I have tried reinstalling PM.

How To Reacreate:
Step 1: (Gamcube Controller) Plug the controller into slot 2, 3, or 4
Step 2: Go to Training Mode.
Step 3. Choose any character and go to any stage.
Step 4: (Playing is optional) Press start and hit 'Finish'
Step 5: Exit out of Training mode.
Step 6: Go to Versus mode.
Step 7: Click Fight.

If done correctly, once you move your cursor (hand 2, 3, or 4), the player 1 hand will also move with it, acting like another controller is connected.
*This allows characers 5o battle under the same name if a name is selected with 'New Entry'
**If/When you go into battle under this glitch, both characters will be controlled by one controller. (Both characters will move at the same time despite one controller being used.)
