i checked the back of the big tv and i saw two columns, one saying "output" and another saying "to computer" (or to monitor, or something like that). each column has a video and two audio jacks. i think thats good news!

it finally hit me how good johnny's MMing people is/was
sure you can play seriouslies but it's not the same with money on the line (unless you really don't care)
he was determined to be good (from what i can tell) and i deeply admire that about him
i may not be able to go to tournaments for a while but damned if i'm not going to get some serious matches
i've just realized i want to get good, and i haven't been doing anything about it, and i've just been lazy
this is all just a small fraction of the bigger picture...so i need to do this
my goal is to be my best and i can't be stopped

that is good to hear my friend, i love it when people want to get better at this game. i certainly hope you stick with it. to be sure, me and sung can give you advice, and we can record matches to help identify things more easily. also, i think the biggest part is for you to just buckle down and focus real hard when we play, cause seriouslies is a good way to learn imo.

yeah from what i remember he used to go to tournaments and even travel to people's places to money match (as well as smash for a while, duh lol)
i'm gonna be focusing on edgeWORK (needs work*) and no falling aerials, and tech skill in general
i do try to focus hard but sometimes i overdo it and it's absolutely exhausting
sometimes i get carried away having fun too...lol
but yeah i alway try to aim for seriouslies
my biggest worry is that people may get tired of playing me but i don't really get tired of playing anyone

no problem evan, glad you could come. biggest things i noticed are to work on recovery, both off stage and when on the ledge, and edge guarding....so yeah, edge game in general. other than that, i was impressed with how much you knew for someone whos never played "fast melee" (lol) before, that just comes with practice and getting used to it i guess.
