Continuing the recent surge in Final Smash updates, today we see King Dedede’s Final Smash. The Dreamland King summons a Waddle Dee Army.

After getting and activating the Smash Ball, he summons his loyal troops to the field.

The Waddle Dee’s flood the stage quickly, damaging and knocking back whoever they hit. It is recommended you avoid getting swept up by the crowd.

While it’s hard to tell from a simple screenshot, we’re told that the Waddle Dee’s in his Final Smash move much faster then the one summoned in his Special Move. There are also a few things that remain uncertain about this move: Where do the Waddle Dee’s appear from? Do they walk on the stage boundaries or just obliterate everything in their way, like the PK Starstorm? Guess we’ll have to wait until release for that.
Also, occasionally a Gordo may be seen in the crowd. These spiky creatures obviously do far more damage then the average Waddle Dee.
