secret room of wonder and despair
a mud blood bath to bleach our sins
we are alive. we are dying.
the air is thick death pudding
we are alive here

i'm the broken pipe man.
you.
the sweat,
the unchanged diaper
the congregate of flies

we swim to dead
we swim in mass
we drown in bowl
in psalms and death gurgles

help our dead and dying
help our living
smell our stink
flush us down
we drown in bowl
we drown in boats.
we die and bloat.
we are alive in light
"let it shine.
this little light of mine
I'm gonna let it shine"

we are living. we are dead.
we drown in bowl, we drown.

Great. I love the one or two word lines. It also has an odd message to it that I am'nt really picking up, which is cool. What's the theme?

Something like "we are alive. we are dying." however just sounds a little cliche.

I took "we are living. we are dead" to imply not that they are simultaneously living and dying (which is indeed a cliché sentiment) but, rather, that the speaking group is alive and then dead in the time it takes to snap your fingers. Or some within it are alive and then dead.

I like most of this, though I'm curious about the intention behind quoting "This little light". I might have an idea but I'm pretty **** with poetry, sadly.
