A way to slow down spam.

Recently there has been a number of people who have joined the boards just to spam them. I propose that there should be a cap on the number of thread a person is able to make per day. If you're able to change the number of threads a single person is able to make per day, the amount of spam will be significantly reduced makeing your lives easier.
Please take this into consideration.

The reason I'm posting this here is because well i don't know were to put it, move/close if necessary.

I don't have a strong opinion. Spammers are fun for a while, but should eventually be stopped. I do, however, admire their ability to attract attention to themselves, and make the boards less dull.

Lol the problem hasn't just been for the last month or so >.>
And I'd prefer an altered idea. Not a limit on the threads that you can make, more that you have to have been a member for at least a month to be able to make threads (posting in other threads would be fine during that month though.
This would put people off spamming because they'd have to wait a month to do so, and it'd give a chance for the productive newcomers to lurk and see what's already common knowledge so as to not post threads that are ultimately useless.

It won't ever happen though, lol.
