Any studies on reflectors done?

I was playing against some comp ICs today and I noticed I could reflect their icicles with my neutral "a" attack on the ground. Also, my PkF destroyed one of them and reflected the other. This leads me to believe that some of Lucas' other moves may be useful as a reflector on weaker projectiles. Either that, or it leads me to believe that any move is effective in reflecting ICs icicles. Smashboards, clear this up for me.

You have no idea how much I wanted PkF to have reflecting capabilities as well.

Doesn't Lucas' fsmash reflect? It's not as convenient as PK Fire, but I'm sure with practice you will be able to reflect some of the slower projectiles

Fsmash reflects, that's been known since Melee and Ness' bat. I was hoping I'd stumbled upon something new here .

Ahh, but Ness's bat didn't do the actual reflecting in Melee. His body did. That's why it was so hard to land. In Brawl, Lucas's stick is the reflector, so it is much easier to actually consistently reflect.

However, you have a chance of tripping. Worth the tradeoff though. Bsticking > getting hit with projectiles.

ness's bat could reflect in melee but only if u hit projectile with tip of bat
now bat and stick reflect no matter what part u hit with
