The symbols look nothing alike. Ashnard's is more ornate, and the one on the castle is round.

Sakurai even stated that the castle wasn't from any specific game, nor are any of the parts.

I saw this MONTHS ago. =P It was killed when we saw it was a generic stage. They took that logo and edited it to be random. Although he would be quite a cool bad guy, he's definitely a heavy character, and IMO too much like Ganondorf, or even Ike. =P
