Well, it's different I think. In the case of Skyworld, and apparently Hyrule, you just need to stand on the uneven platform, and tap diagonally down/forward. I assume it's because the uneven platform makes a "hill" or sorts.Interesting.
Could you only do it on Skyworld tho?
What about on stages like Green Hill Zone?
Did you find any applications for it?Well, it's different I think. In the case of Skyworld, and apparently Hyrule, you just need to stand on the uneven platform, and tap diagonally down/forward. I assume it's because the uneven platform makes a "hill" or sorts.
And just so everyone in here sees the other thing I'm talking about:

So yeah, just stand on the tiny ledge where it happened and tap diagonally down/forward. If you get the slide, it's the exact same thing I found before.
Well, as I've explained in the topic, the extent of my research was small. I was focusing more on which characters are capable of it, and what attacks cancel the slide. I looked a little bit on why it happened, and seeing how you don't need to jump into it, I'm not entirely sure if it's really the same slope deal.Did you find any applications for it?
Like going from a move to that slide then to another move in a practical/useful way?
It can't be done on solid, flat ground.Thats strange as hell, if you can figure out how to recreate that all the time I will offer you my body.
Watch my second vid I do it on Yoshi's Island.did no one watch that other video posted in this thread with ike??
He jumps back from the pit in hyrule and the exact same thing happens.
CASE SOLVED, the step in hyrule is weird, and this move cannot be applied anywhere else.
As I've said multiple times, including in a topic I made awhile back about essentially the same thing, it is not possible on flat ground. It is because of the slightly elevated ground where he landed. This is also possible on Skyworld.looks intersting, could be useful if you could find out how to do it lol
Yeah sucks the video is done but this gives me some more info to work with, Maybe I will PM this guy.Well I found the thread but it seems he took the videos down and it wasnt lucien who found it haha i got the names mixed up cause zodiac and zodiak.
Edit:Forgot the link haha http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=175779
