Worst tournament atmosphere ever. The gaming room was filled with a bunch of anal-retentive a$$holes with the exception of maybe one or two people. If you want to attend a poorly organized tournament and play with a handful of grade A douchebags, I recommend attending the next tournament.

There was also a pathetic showing of 6 people, which will probably only decrease in the future when you factor in the fact that the tournament's foundation of success rested upon the shoulders of a couple ultra-nerds.

LMAO @ Tercel

I would've attended this, but i couldn't fall asleep at all the night prior, and then finally fell asleep at 1pm while the tourney was already going on lol

Good thing too, not many showed up, so i didn't waste gas to play my Crew Mates lol

Tercel, who were you at the tourney?
I was the one who played as Mario and nerd-raged after i lost.

Fortunately for me I still win in the end since my face isn't covered in pimples and I don't act like a jacka$$ in public. Obviously the same can't be said for some of the others at the tourny.

Mario player? For brawl or melee? Don't really remember seeing a mario player.

Wait, were you the guy arguing w/ Bailey about why brawl sucks or not?

Okay, this is probably the last Toy Wiz Tournament I'll be attending and one of the worst tournaments I've attended ever.

Yes I know the place is known for a lack of set ups, so I understand why the tournament may have taken as long as it did, but it was pretty unfortunate that so many people left for the Brawl tournament.

Now I can understand the venue fee, but is the manager that much of a greedy ******* that he also has to make a profit from the 4 other events by taking money out of them as well? If I ever show up for any reason whatsoever, I'll be sure to buy a few peppermints on my credit card.

I can understand when people may get disappointed when they lose, but there really was a surprising amount of sore losers at this tournament. It's just a game, don' take it too seriously.

I'm not even sure who this was directed toward. Like I said, it's just a game....

Oh yeah, and Bailey, leaving your own tournament before it's over doesn't actually help....

What exactly is a 'sore loser'? Is a sore loser someone who gets mad when they lose or is that just a characteristic of a competitive person? People should get mad when they lose. Who wants to spend $10 on a tournament just to sit in a store for almost three hours and come out empty handed.

I play brawl friendlies with my best friends and from our reactions to the games you would think there was a million dollars at stake. Competitive nature is just inherent in some people.

If you don't get upset when you lose, you didn't really want the win that badly.

There is some truth in this, yet, you must understand that regardless of how you may feel when you lose, it is still your responsibility as a competitor to remain calm and show at least some form of respect or courtesy to the person you played, unless they were a douchebag during the match.

And also, one of the main reasons that people go to tournaments, besides the actual competition, is to get better. I mean really, is it plausible to expect yourself to come away with money in a tournament where players who possess greater skill attend? Even if it's part of your competitive nature to want to win and to get upset when you lose, it's unacceptable to be a sore loser. Take your licks and get over it.

Tarcel. Money Match me for $50 in Melee or Brawl. If you say no then stop talking.

I am offically done with ToyWiz for tournaments the manager screwed the over the people who should have won more money. Those people are Sol, Phish-it, Myself and Ritz.

For all those people who *****ed that Melee was taking to long, well guess what it was a Melee tournament with Brawl SIDE events. SIDE EVENTS means it isn't top priority smart tart.

Another reason for Brawl sucking. Everyone said Brawl is a new game and anyone can be the next M2K. Yet with everyone there who was on Brawl's side sadly didn't place top 3 in any Brawl tournaments. That says something.

But I can quit now because I walked out with Money and all the people who left early were afraid. So sucks to be you.

Also I beat Phish-it in a tournament set in Melee I am happy.

So yea here are my shout outs.

**** tarcel

I love Sol, Phish-it, Ritz (who is amazing), X, and justin.

They totally left after getting served in Melee then complained to the Manager trying to get their money back.

They had to be out by seven and it was 5:30. Yea that is the reason they left.

*****es shouldn't come to tournaments. Stick to online FFAs

Bailey - Ill answer why Reno said upstate, cuz everyone that i know in the City calls anything above NYC Upstate cuz they have to travel upstate... technically its not upstate, but its just weird, its the way ppl are

This tourney seemed like it was funny with Tercel there, i wish someone would've recorded some matches of Tercel going up against Murt lmao

Interesting comment considering I didn't face a G & W or a bowser. I guess you just have me confused with someone else.

In any case I think my work is done in this thread. I'll let you nerd birds go about your business now.

I didn't know that you could do that in real life. Sol should have another smashfest because the last one was amazing.
