It's probably considered like a tag-team name.Btw one tiny, tiny weird thing I noticed... why did the splash screen say "Banjo-Kazooie are raring to go"? The GAME is titled Banjo-Kazooie, but the character(s) it(them)self is Banjo AND Kazooie. Seems like a weird slip.
Funny enough, Banjo is only the third 90s character for Ultimate's roster. Half of this roster came from the 80s.

I guess, but just seems weird. A friend of mine pointed out Duck Hunt, but the dog/ducks don't actually have names so there's nothing else to call them. Banjo and Kazooie obviously have names so it's weird not to say their names as such. It'd be like if Rosalina & Luma were "Rosalina-Luma" (not that I'm gonna really care either way; this is a microscopic thing that doesn't really matter, lol).
Feels great; rip Google theory though with the DQ heroes.
I'm really getting tired of all these anime swordsbears in Smash.
Sorry man. I am right there with you- the only RPGS That hold feeling for me are Golden Sun and Pokemon.
Of course I wanted to cover my back haha. I've leaked almost 20 games from E3, and I have a CND from Nintendo so I definitely didn't want to continue on to them. I never tweeted that I knew the Smash character. I said that I intended to share all of that on Monday, but as you know the CND prevented that. So, of course, I tweeted to not direct any of the smash fallout to me because I genuinely always took neutral stances on characters, especially since I was not legally allowed to share smash info anymore.
It was just amusing when K Rool/Banjo/Geno were being speculated how some people whined and complained about the 90s and nostaglia, demanding how none of those characters should be added as Smash was just catering to '90s manbabies.'
December 29th-31st is a placeholder date for every game that doesn't have a release date yet.
Its a shame you had to go through that.
Amazon always lists placeholder dates as December 31st of the current year. I'm betting on it being a mistake anyway but hey, today proved that sometimes miracles can happen.
Oh, alright then.
In all honesty Kazooie is cooler than any Sword, She's like a Swiss army knife that can be used as a firearm, Melee weapon and she can fly.

Cannot wait to have the Amiibo (I only own 4, lol) and I'd settle for Rare Replay being ported to Switch. That's more than enough for me, but if we got a remake or Banjo-Threeie, I might lose my mind.
I know that you're joking and all but I'd like to note having become a Dragon Quest fan myself over the recent year that the Dragon Quest protagonists is more an issue of the developers' fault. In Dragon Quest games, while it's true that there are legendary swords that contribute to plot, the protagonist doesn't even HAVE to be a sword user. Dragon Quest has a wide variety of weapons the protagonist can use such as whips, hammers, axes, brass knuckle, boomerangs and can even order monster allies to fight in addition to being able to use magic. People that have actually played DQ know this. So this one is more on the developers for not doing more with them than just sword attacks.
