Because my online freezes after the first 5 seconds, then 5 minutes later disconnects, I don't actually have an opportunities to disconnect. I admittedly have disconnected in other games though, mostly Mario Kart DS.

Disconnected on Basic Brawl when the lag is unbearable (1/100th of a second becomes more like 5 seconds). Never disconnected when I'm doing a battle with friends though.

A couple of times. And as a matter of fact I've been disconnected all of a sudden, without any lag. I think this happened while WFC had some issues.

I only disconnect when lag becomes extremely horrible (all to often). I have on Hunters, because some hacker got the Omega Cannon on levels that weren't Oubliette.

I've had people who disconnected on me during Mario Kart DS. They get all pissed at the fact that the guy there losing against doesn't snake. ^_^

But to actually answer the question. Yes, my Wii cuts off randomly every now and then.

When the 2 minute basic brawls start taking 8 due to lag, I don't disconnect intentionally. I just walk away from the TV until it's over or I get DC'ed by the game. When it comes to situations where there isn't lag, purposefully disconnecting the match has to be the lowest possible thing someone could do.

Why "be honest"? There is no shame in saying you disconnected, even if there is no technical reason and you just had no enjoyment at all.

As everybody else said, I've only ever disconnected due to lag. If they win, they win. They deserved it. Unless they played as Ike and kept KOing the other two people that couldn't figure out to stop walking into his FSmash.

I've only disconnected once, ever, in MP:H, again, as everybody else said, because of the hackers. It felt good, by the way.

True play CS for 15 min and a hacker will join, and the enjoyment just fades.

Not by choice. I'm pretty good about getting my *** handed to me. I'm even pretty patient when it comes to lag, but lately the servers have been so messed up(Because of MK:Wii, or so I hear), I don't really have a say in the matter.
