Yo Luigis! :luigimelee:

What's you're best combo in training mode? (On neutrale stage and without items, of course)

I've just done a 8 combo, 85 % on fox. Mix of downsmash and uptilt to weak nair to ping to death

Do you have advice? original combo? thankyou

On a Fox with bad DI you can get chain u-throws from zero to about 90%, and if you want you can switch to u-tilts as early as 30% if you have really good timing and the move is not stale at that point. Weak n-air to up-b is a decent finisher at around 70%, will survive on high ceilings though. Basically you can zero-to-death "true" combo fox in unrealistic conditions. It's about the same for Falco with some different percent thresholds because of the difference in weight/falling speed.

Something i like to do is rising full jump n-air to re-jump weak n-air to d-air. You can get all sorts of things from rising fj n-airs depending on percentages. Avoid it on floaties though, they'll often end up at the same spot out of lag before you.

Some advice: preferably you'll want to play against other people that can DI because not every combo is gonna be set in stone. If you don't have the option to play other people, other good practice is to try and combo lvl 7 CPU's since they have decent* DI. Take notice of the differing knock-back at varying percents to get a better understanding of when to use different moves that can lead into either: A) more connecting attacks in a combo. B) knocking your opponent on the ground and trying to read/predict their tech or get up. C) Following up with a Wavedashing/wavelanding to chase the enemy down.

p much this because you can get ridiculous stuff like d-smash > d-smash > d-smash > d-smash > d-smash > without any trouble.
