Um I know this is gonna sound dumb but why are there no like really game play tourney vids of this version of Brawl with Metaknight just wondering. Is he banned or something I would like to know for that way if I ever go to one I will know.

This is just a hunch - and I don't have any tournament experience to back it up - but I kinda doubt there are very many B+ metaknight mains. MK players don't exactly have a lot of incentive to leave vbrawl, at least if they want to continue playing MK. That's not to say all MK players only care about winning, but at the same time it's gotta be difficult to move to a new game where your main character is significantly worse relative to the opposition/what you're used to.

Which is really too bad, because of course MK is still a very decent character in B+. I would actually expect more people who didn't play MK in vbrawl to pick him up now.

That's because we're only a fraction of the competitive base. And with 39 arguably viable characters, you're not going to see the whole roster being played yet.

MK is still more popular than Olimar, PT as a WHOLE and not the Wild Pokemon, Zamus, and a few others. :V

I can think of at least 4 EC ZSSes off the top of my head, and I'm sure I'm missing some. I can only think of 2 EC MKs.

I have no idea how it is in other regions though.

I only know of 2 ZSSs. One is Sethlon and I havn't seen him in forever. And the other is a Wifi Warrior in the IRC.

I know I use MK. I know Veril does. Rkey uses MK, but he's a PAL user. Blacka uses MK. That's all i can remember atm.

Man, is there a character that Vanz can't use?

I honestly think that Smash is one of the easiest games that you can be good with all characters in. I think that plenty if people could try doing what Vanz does, but are afraid of swapping characters because they think they will do worse with their "non-main".

When we HAD B+ tournaments here, before I quit them due to 6-7 entrants or less, I had always thought that I should go multiple characters. The best I probably did was four in a day. Some combination of Wario, Wolf, Falcon, DK, Bowser, from what I remember.

Being good with most characters isn't tough. Just a matter of finding, exploiting, and abusing each character's 2, 3 best moves.
