So, is the that "demo/Nintendo World 2001" trailer thing that you couldn't get the only one you couldn't do, or are there more? Not counting the cutscenes, obviously.

Well, that's good. When you've done all the timing and tagging, etc, will you be making a topic on FF Shrine for people to download it? If not, would I be allowed?

That's cool. Are you moosehunter, or furrybob there, or someone else? Also, if you don't mind me asking, where are you going tomorrow?

Well I bet that's a lot more interesting than just sitting in front of your computer/laptop/whatever you use just making BRSTMs all day, and going on forums and stuff, right? :p Also, where's Segtendo to break the combo?

Wait, I just listened to the "BGM_MONTE_NIGHT" or whatever, and compared it to the Pianta Village track from the Happy! Mario 20th Anniversary" album... and I think there was an extra instrument, like some kind of shakers/maracas or something. Are the shakers only there in the day time version, i.e. BGM_MONTEVILLAGE?

Really? I just used to play the game and not even notice the difference. But then, I used to think Baby Park and Tilt-A-Kart were the same, but when you listen to them, they are actually quite different in terms of instruments. For example, I think Tilt-A-Kart has a loud cymbal, where as Baby Park has a quiter higher picthed cymbal.

I could do that, if you want. Also, for the best quality, set the interpolation to "Cubic". Well at least that's my opinion, and a few other people say that cubic interpolation is best. Also, did moosehunter cancel the "BGM_HANABOSS_2ND3RD" upload, or whatever it was called? I assume he's gone to bed or wherever? EDIT: Wait, it just re-appeared?

So, from general knowledge, and some translating, here's what I got in terms of what the tunes are, out of the 34 that was uploaded so far:
BGM_AIRPORT = Delfino Airstrip
BGM_BIANCO = Bianco Hills
BGM_BOSS = Boss (Petey Piranha, Gooper Blooper, Wiggler, Eely Mouth and King Boo)
BGM_BOSSGESO_2ND3RD = Gooper Blooper Phase 2
BGM_BOSSHANA_2ND3RD = Wiggler Phase 2
BGM_CASINO = Casino Delfino
BGM_CHUBOSS = Piranha Plant in the Generator
BGM_CHUBOSS_MANTA = Vs Manta Ray
BGM_CHUBOSS2 = Vs Plungelo
BGM_CORONA = Corona Mountain
BGM_DELFINO = Hotel Delfino
BGM_DOLPIC = Delfino Plaza
BGM_EVENT = Event
BGM_EXTRA = Secret Course
BGM_KAGEMARIO = Shadow Mario (Kage is literally "Shadow" in Japanese, apparently)
BGM_KUPPA = Vs Bowser
BGM_MAMMA = Gelato Beach
BGM_MAP_SELECT = File Select
BGM_MARE_SEA = Deep Sea of Mare (Red Coin Fish)
BGM_MAREVILLAGE = Noki Bay
BGM_MECHAKUPPA = Mecha Koopa
BGM_MERRY_GO_ROUND = Yoshi's Merry Go Round
BGM_MONTE_LAST = Pianta Village Band
BGM_MONTE_NIGHT = Pianta Village (Night)
BGM_MONTE_ONSEN = Pianta Village Band near Hot Spring ("Onsen" translates directly as "Hot Spring")
BGM_MONTE_RESCUE = Piantas in Need
BGM_MONTEMAN_RACE = Il Piantissimo
BGM_MONTEVILLAGE = Pianta Village (Day)
BGM_PINNAPACO = Pinna Park
BGM_PINNAPACO_SEA = Pinna Park Beach
BGM_RICCO = Ricco Harbour
BGM_SHILENA = Sirena Beach
BGM_SKY_AND_SEA = Sky & Sea
BGM_TIME_IVENT = Timer

Also, I don't think BGM_BOSSGESO_2DN3RD uploaded properly, since it's only 11 seconds long :p Also, there's 34 including that one, so you still have 12 you haven't uploaded yet?

I know. My computer did an automatic reboot during the night. There are a few left.

And I know what all of them are except BGM_BOSSPAKU_DEMO. Maybe you'll recognize it.

Well "Paku" apparently means "Park", so I assumed it was related to Pinna Park, possibly Mecha Koopa, but it wasn't, unfortunately. Must be some unused/beta thing. Also, when you get back, BGM_BOSSGESO_2DN3RD still cuts off too early. It goes to 1:08, but the actual song loops at almost 1:40. The normal boss is 1:38 any how, and this is exactly the same, just with a different intro.

I know moosey's at camp, but he might have taken a lap top with him, but it's best not to just assume that, so I can't ask him directly, but I'll instead ask you guys if you agree that this would be a little helpful. You know how the "main.php" page shows the 5 most recent uploaded BRSTMs? Do you think we should also have a "Recent updated BRSTMs" as well? And on the same subject, should it be more than 5? Say, the most recent 10, 20, or 50 or whatever? The "update" one would be helpful in knowing what BRSTMs have been updated, as well as what ones have been added newly, right?

Also has anyone had any more 502 Gateway errors? I haven't yet -- is that what the site was down for, yesterday? I managed to get to the site just as it was down for maintenance, and I assumed it was to fix that, amongst other things, like maybe some minor bug fixing or something, like that.

Speaking of dun dun duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun, someone posted a video on YouTube of that short cutscene from Super Mario Galaxy when Major Burrows becomes REALLY mad, to that particular piece of music, since the actions of Major Burrows just goes with it so well.
And here it is:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxZV0jIKZgc

Also, here's a piece of music I BRSTM'd from Safri Duo (some people may have heard of them). This particular piece of music mixes trance, with some awesome bongo drumming, some kind of classical orchestralness, and a bit of Japanese sound to it as well, kind of, with an instrument, which is called, if I'm not mistaken, is a Koto.
http://www.brawlcustommusic.com/11613

My question is, to what stage would that music be most suited?

Cool :p, I see Fourside from Melee is your top downloaded BRSTM, with 345 downloads.
My top downloded BRSTM is Metal Mario Fight from Smash Bros, but only 134 downloads.
THE most-downloaded BRSTM is Blinded by Light (Long Version) from FFXIII, with 385 downloads.

Also, is the "Final Fantasy IV" game listed on Brawl Custom Music the one that was called "Final Fantasy II" in America? Also, what if two people create BRSTMs one from Final Fantasy II (the original one), and one from the game that's called "Final Fantasy II" in America, and uploads it as that, how are we going to prevent the possibility of having a game with a mixture of Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV tracks? Likewise with III and XI?

I wonder if I'll see my Sonic Generations BRSTMs jmp when the actual game's out.
I'm loving the classic mixes so far.

I'm gonna update some themes from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Wait, if you didn't know you could, how come they all sound like there's no echo? By default there should be an echo. I might make a video showing the difference between having echo on and off.

Are you SURE you do NOT have "disable echo" ticked? It should be NOT ticked.

Anyway, this is what Life in the Mines (from DKC) would sound like with echo disabled:

They DO echo in the game. Have you watched the video? Compare that to the actual game's music. The point is, you should have left the "disable echo" UN-ticked ... and there's you claiming you didn't know you could do that.

For a better example, watch a video of someone playing in Reptile Rumble or another cave level, and listen to the music. Then play the SPC of that, with echo disabled. Notice the difference?

Yeah, I'll do that :p -- I'm someway through doing Banjo-Tooie. So far, I'm up to Jolly Roger's Lagoon, so I have quite a few BRSTMs that are coming. Also, as I may know, I got a non-intro-cutting-off rip of that game. I'm just waiting for one for DK64, then I can start making BRSTMS for that.

Also, what did you mean by "you didn't know you could do that"?

That's odd. It's unticked on mine. Also, you think it was ticked by default, -- can you open up Winamp, and go to the properties of SNESAmp and see if "disable echoes" is ticked or unticked?
