With Ijah's permission, I plan to talk to a few indie devs I know to see if we can get the rights to hosting their songs in BRSTM, or more likely just them hosting it. The best case scenario from this is that we gain a good enough reputation to get sponsored and that will handle the site.

I found only one trace of the Paypal link between this page 598, using the 15 posts a page option.

I'll look some other time, if I can. If it's your own post, you can remove the link from it.

What's going on with BCM? Is the site shut down for good, or is it on life support?

I'm very sorry to hear about the temporary sorta-loss of BCM, and I'm additionally sorry that I'm another disheveled BCM customer looking for help....

Is there any way to get access to the BRSTMs that were on BCM? They probably still exist somewhere..... the pages show up on Google but clicking them does no good. Is there maybe a super Mediafire folder someplace or a list of links?

Thank you! (And sorry again about the whole BCM thing.)

Also, KCMM/BV are down...... BRSTM deprivation.

Heya Sumire.

I'm afraid it'll be gone for good unless we can do something about it...

It sounds like we'll have to upload our stuff to Mediafire or something.

I'm guessing your thinking of darksamus' incident with Mediafire.

I still got a bunch of songs on my Mediafire. They don't seem to like Mario Party 3 for some reason cuz those BRSTMs got deleted from my Mediafire :v

My BRSTM folder for proof.
Yep, it must just hate me. I wouldn't trust them at all. Dropbox honestly may be the way to go with the BCM songs. No uploading, you'd just have to copypasta all the songs into the Public folder (multiple accounts, of course).

EDIT: I've made 15 GB of BRSTM's myself. Wowza.

Few songs to give
http://www.mediafire.com/?et25rdxz4hnhyet Guilty Gear XX slash (I think :D): Get Down to Buisness (Order Sols theme)
http://www.mediafire.com/?9ycc79i7kmaflr6 Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the holy wars: Door of Fate
http://www.mediafire.com/?34xh3v2j6264xek Guilty Gear: Korean OST: Vortex Infinitum (Robo Kys theme)
http://www.mediafire.com/?u2o4hhc7wj0cr9h Mega Man 3: Protomans theme Remix

Hey dude, it seems you also enjoy the korean ost of GGXX! I've looped some songs, and I having issues with the DB gain. I used audacity for gain, tried not to get the song as loud "as possible", so that we wouldn't heard that 'buzz' from the song. But ingame, the volumen is still pretty low. Any help there? Also, the songs I've created and looped (no download links yet, since I want to fix this first):

The Vampire Saga (since it seems the link is no longer available);
Pillars Of The Underworld;
Blacklight Babe;
Redemption;
Sticks & Stones;
Dead Silence;
The Midnight Carnival;

Thanks for your attention. :D

.....Did you average 30 seconds per song?

Really, this is amazing! (Definitely using some of these!)

Didn't you hear?
The Paypal account got hit hard. The owner of it can't make withdrawals for 6 months, and we can't pay off the site cuz of it.

I'm cleaning out my SD card and uploading whatever's on there. They blocked MediaFire on campus, so I can't even get those backups until later.

30 seconds? :laugh: it took a couple of minutes per song. It takes a few minutes for me to make any BRSTM, but these required a bit of editing, which added to the time it took to make. Hope you enjoy the songs, they're all very HQ.

Supreme Dirt, we don't know how to pay the host, but I, for one, appreciate your willingness to help.

Apparently, there are some torrents for Mario Party 9 already.

I'll start the download later. I have the torrent on my USB.

I got it on 1337x, and the name in the torrent's files has TLS in the name. I know he has done rips before.

If you guys are gonna upload videos, render then at 1 frame per second when you create them. It saves a lot of time and space. :p

What are you using, Soneek?
Ffmpeg. I'll write up all the setting necessary for it in a bit, since it's command line based.

[collapse=Combine music and image using ffmpeg]
Get the latest ffmpeg static build from here. http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/

After extracting it, copy cmd.exe from your system32 folder, and put in the same folder as ffmpeg.exe.

The logo will need to be JPEG format for ffmpeg to use it. Place the logo you wanna use in the same folder as ffmpeg.exe, and rename it to "image.jpg".

Copy your extended MP3 into that folder as well, and rename it "audio.mp3".

Open the cmd.exe that you copied into the ffmpeg folder, and paste this command.

ffmpeg -r 1 -f image2 -loop_input -i image.jpg -i audio.mp3 -vcodec mpeg4 -qscale 2 -acodec copy -shortest newvideo.avi

You can rename newvideo.avi in the code if you'd rather not rename it afterwards. You'll have to repeat this process for any song you wanna use.[/collapse]

It should take less than 2 minutes to build each video with that method. :awesome:

I finally got the BRSTM to 15 minute video script working. The only catch is that you can only have one BRSTM in the folder at once. It kept failing when I tried doing more...

Also, there's certain batch files depending on the sample rate of the BRSTM. I'm only gonna have scripts for 32000, 44100, and 48000 until vgmstream is updated. I asked them to add the variable for sample rate, so that I can make just 1 script. I'll PM everyone that uses the channel with files soon.

Can't you just make it so it does this...
BRSTM converts to MP3/WAV
WAV is resampled to a 44100 Hz
And then, do the rest of it?

When I made my wav files to mp3, I had to make the sampling rate 44100. If it was anything else, it would be sped up when I listen to the video's audio. It was also sped up when previewed in Winamp.
