I got it already last night. Ashram uploaded it in 320 kbps MP3 format.

Ashram? Guess where I got it from... lulz

http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/without-boundaries-sonic-lost-world-original-soundtrack-164987/

Although the link I used was from The12thGripper's post, which was reuploaded to mega, because I think there were issues with the original links or something?

The point is, yay BERSTUMs! The only awkward thing is, having to edit certains songs if you want them to loop as they do in the actual games, and certain songs having to be edited to loop anyway, such as Windy Hill Act 1.

I can't upload any BRSTMs on brawlcustommusic

Do you know whose fault it is? Is it mine? No. It's the fault of FlameHyenard, Segtendo, Linkshot, bxaimc, Barkman6 and whoever else comes under either "Site Administrator" or "Site Moderator".

So I am not asking, I am telling ALL of the people mentioned. MODERATE THE PENDING LIST AT LEAST ONCE A ****ING WEEK YOU LAZY *****!

It's like an endless cycle.
-People upload lots BRSTMs
-No one approves them for a week or two
-TUK complains
-Someone eventually approves/rejects all of them.
Rinse and repeat, and there you have this thread.

At least we aren't being hypocrites about it. If you wanna upload, then do a little approving each day. You're just as much at fault as the rest of us, so don't try to act like a victim.

I know I'm being a hypocrite, by not approving the songs. But that pretty much proves my point. That I am 99% of the time, the ONLY one who actually does it. Otherwise, what is the legitimate reason why it was left for literally 6-7 weeks and ended up exceeding 700? And it can't be that "people were busy", because you're implying that every single person on the planet, was consistently busy for all of 3,628,800 seconds+, because unless I'm mistaken, I'm sure there's a big difference between "being busy", and literally no one doing anything for 7 weeks. It hasn't been 7 weeks yet, but there's a 100% chance that if I don't do anything with the pending list, NO ONE will.

My point, again, to summarise, is that yes I don't approve (no pun intended -- if there was even a possible pun), but one of the reasons I don't approve or reject songs, is because it gets to a point where there's so many, I just can't be bothered.

And the reason it gets to many, is because no one approves anything for weeks, sometimes. You even admitted yourselves, that you deliberately approve your own uploads and ignore the rest.

Yes we're all guilty of leaving the pending list. But that's just my point. If I DO approve anything, I'm almost always the only one.

I'd be willing to do a few a day, or every few days, however, under one condition. That I am NOT the only one doing it. IMO, there should be some kind of rota. It wouldn't have to be someone does it on a Monday, someone else on a Tuesday, it could be one week someone does it, the next week another person does it. Or something. Otherwise it's just me, doing most of the approving. Infact, I could be wrong, but I'd guess that I've approved and rejected more songs than any other mods.

My understanding is this track made its debut on Mewtwo's Project M turbo video, surely the BRSTM has already been made on account of how PM is based here in the boards. Perhaps I'm just not looking hard enough?

If I get a chance to make one for it myself, I'll be sure to upload it here.

Okay, sorry to interupt but it seems like the songs put in the request threads are never going to be made into BRSTMs, should I just learn how to make my own then?

Got a hold of the RDSK (file for Android releases, which can be opened as RAR's) of the new Sonic 2 re-release. Extracted the songs from it. Same deal as the Sonic 1 re-release: songs are enhanced in OGG, but I have to loop them myself.

If you're up for it, then go ahead. It's not as hard as people think it is.

Is there a way for us to make our own BRSTMs? Or are you guys the only ones capable of making them?

You can make your own brstms if you want. Nobody's stopping you. Just don't expect to upload non-video game music to brawlcustommusic.

Wow, apparently the BRSTM converter on this site involves an .exe file which MAC users such as myself are unable to extract. I heard the Brawlbox is an alternative. Can someone explain to me what the Brawlbox is? Excuse me for my ignorance.

BrawlBox is, basically, an all-in-one Brawl hack maker/editor. There's a feature that let's you make BRSTMs, but the loop points need to be in a multiple of 14336.

Also...
"Finish the pending list of 66 songs, and then you can upload again. (For all mods)"
****ing seriously? We get punished for not approving BRSTMs?

The next step is setting loop points in order to make songs loop without fading out and starting over. I recommend using Wavosaur. When you open the program, you can go to Options -> Sample Display -> Sample. After you find a starting and ending point, you can mark down those locations, and then use the samples numbers of each spot when you convert a song in BrawlBox.

Yes. It's to prevent us from uploading and approving our own songs, without doing anything about the other pending ones.

When I downloaded Wavosaur and opened the file that came out, it contained readme.txt and Wavosaur.exe (which just shows a bunch of random text when I open it)

Something important I should mention. I'm a MAC user. My computer cannot read .exe files, which I guess is because those are meant for Windows. I can tell most people on here are PC/Windows users.

How about Wine for OSX?

Or to translate... it's to stop leaving the pending list for me, and only me to do.

Soneek? Is there a reason why there's literally just me, LC-DDM, BCMBot and BCMAnnounce?

No bcmlog, no BRSTMBot, no DarkAce, and they're usually constantly on. Also I think one of the videos is failing to be 'created'.

Also... the site is being really slow... and the worst part:

Riifs server: Offline

FFS, why does it ALWAYS... and I actually mean literally ALWAYS happen?

EVERY SINGLE TIME the site goes really really wrong, like the riifs server is offline, there's no bcmlog, BRSTMBot in the chat, and there's literally just me, LC-DDM, and Pinkie_Pie, not even the usual permanent residents of DarkAce... soneek is somehow coincidentally not here.

Or sometimes it's the other way. Whenever soneek happens to be away, like at school or one of those times when he's going to be busy for a few days, the site just coincidentally decides to say "OMG soneek's not going to be here? OK, time for me to be stupid and crash and stuff"

So happy new year and stuff.

Meanwhile, what did I get for Christmas? Well, here goes.

Sennheiser RS 170 Wireless Headphones
Some electronic puzzle game (as in word puzzles, wordsearches, and so on :p)
A book full of jokes
Another book full of riddles (which are also sort of jokes in this case)
A really big book full of quiz questions and answers
A board game of 'The Chase'
Some socks and underwear :p
A tin containing multiple packets of Haribo Tangfastic, Star Mix and Super Mix
A selection of Cadbury's chocolates
A box of Maynard's Wine Gums
iPad (4, I think)
The Simpsons 2014 Wall Calendar
Now That's What I Call Music 86 (UK)
Some money.. to be exact, £210. Which is equivalent to $347.89 as of this post

So, not a lot.

Anyway... I have the Final Fantasy HD Remastered OST. So, if no one beats me to it.... need I say more?

So, am I the only one who's getting fed up with the fact that BCM has been "****ed up" non-stop since Christmas? I have barely spent a total of about 5 minutes on it, over the last 10 days.

99% of the time I try to access it, it's either REALLY slow, or just completely offline altogether.

And, no, soneek has no idea why that is.... (inb4AlaricSkywalker)

Yes, there is a .brstm Volume code (worded differently) that sets all of the .brstm files at one steady volume.

I tried this code, and it works without issue in Vs. Mode, which is really great. However, it causes all the single player modes to freeze. As such, is there a volume equalizer code that works in the single player modes? I doubt it but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask.

(Also, why are volume equalizer codes so finicky? I remember one I tried before that froze everything.)

EDIT: Alright, that code is ****, it freezes if there's Mario or more than one Snake in the match. However, when looking at the OP, I followed the "how to make your BRSTMs louder" link, which lead to a thread about the quoted code, and when reading that threat I seen someone link to a thread of another volume code, one that doesn't cause freezes. As such, someone should replace the "how to make your BRSTMS louder" link to this thread http://smashboards.com/threads/custom-song-volume.326024/

Major disadvantage being.... quiet part is louder (which is good), but already loud-enough BRSTMs would be too loud (not as good)

It appears that mysql's hammering all 8 cores at 100%. I can't do anything about it because apparently the password has changed, so I can't get root access. (Soneek?)
