Hello, I'd like a bit of help. I have Brawl+ successfully installed, but whenever I try to use textures/PSA hacks, it gets disabled. I use the following codes:

v1.3 - fixed one of the leading causes for the freezing.
v1.2 - No longer have to wait in the CSS before textures are loaded. Remains untested, so expect at least a bit of freezing maybe.
v1.1 - Fixed to work for stages.
v1.0 - Replaces all files read from the disk with any files of the same name on the SD card.

He tried to add a spoiler tag but they work differently on SWF. Use code tags instead.

Actually before I give you the code, I'll try to help some more, follow these steps if you want the newest best version of Brawl+ and be able to use textures and PSAs:

-Go here: http://brawlplus.net/download/
-Download the txt file(click on "direct link to text")
-Open up the text
-DELETE THESE CODES FROM THE TEXT IF YOU WANT ILL EXPLAIN WHAT THEY DO BELOW:

-The first code freezes level like Poke stadium
-Second Code, well, it's self-explanatory
-Third makes it so you CAN'T choose custom made levels
-If you WANT these codes on, that's fine, I'm just telling you what I did

-After that, save the text file
-Use the txt file and create a GCT file by using code manager on the homebrew channel(downloaded off homebrew broswer) or using some other method
-Apply whatever textures you want







If you use some other method to load Brawl+, well then here's the best file replacement code out if that's all you want/need, if you're ONLY using the codes you posted, then you're not playing Brawl+(Don't think anyways)

Why the HELL aren't you pointing him to the AUTOUPDATER? (Unless you DON'T want to play Brawl+, which makes the title misleading. >_>)

Use that. Run it, pick option 1 if you're booting gecko from HBC or whatever the other HBCless option is, enter your SD's drive letter, y to overwrite the GCT, enjoy.

No need for all that txt stuff. o_0

(If you're on a MAC, use the Updatifier, which works with the HBC.)

I have a feeling this guy is mixing Brawl+ with general brawl hacking, which sadly a lot of outsiders think.

Didn't know there was one, my bad

Has there been any updates to Brawl+ since 5.0 anyways?

...? I already updated Brawl+ the other day with the auto-updater. It works when I'm not using those codes to get the textures and PSA hacks, but once I turn them on, everything goes back to normal Brawl.

Brawl+ already supports texture and PSA stuff. You don't need to modify anything aside from adding the textures in that you want.


Just use the updater, get the right version, and then add in your textures.

The File replacement code is already inside the Brawl+ codeset. You might not see it because you're using some ancient, decrepped, no-longer in use 3-giant-code-long version, while 3.5.1 is one, lone code.
