Smash Rookie
Hey smashers,
This tournament is for Smash Bros' Melee only. I'm hoping to make this a monthly tournament for the local smashers around the area. It will be held in my house in Uniontown which is in-between Akron and Canton. If you have a set-up please bring it, I'll discount your entry fee. If this thing goes well then I'll consider continuing to hold these house tournaments frequently. It'll give us NEOH smashers another place to play.

SCHEDULE:
12:00pm - Doors open & Doubles Reg
1:00pm - Doubles bracket
3:00pm - Singles Reg
4:00pm - Singles bracket
10:00pm - Bed time (Gotta work in the morning :-P)
FOOD:
There's a few fast food places around my area: Subway, Wendy's, Burger King, Taco Bell, KFC, Dairy Queen. And other nicer places like the Hartville Kitchen and Arabica.
RULES & ENTRY:
Singles - 5$, 3$ if you bring a setup. (tv, cube or wii)
Doubles - 5$ per person, 3$ per person if you bring a setup.
This means if you brought a setup, then both your fees will be 3$, 6$ total. With no setup it's 10$ total.

•2/3 sets
•3/5 semifinals+finals
•8 minute time limit
•Items off
•Ties broken by lives, then %
•Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime.
•Stage Knock Out: Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set, it must be chosen at the beginning of the set, after initial characters are chosen.
•Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or select to go random. The winner may then change their character, followed by the loser.
•Bring your own controller
•Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
•Team Attack will be ON
•Life stealing allowed
WOBBLING IS BANNED
Payouts:
1st = 60%
2nd = 30%
3rd = 10%
