I also read an article with some dude from IW that the reason why CoD doesn't have dedicated servers is cause millions of people play the games on a daily basis and it would cost BILLIONS to host servers in every country in the world.

Although CoD certainly brings in a lot of money, it would cost an absurd amount of money to have dedicated servers as much as I want them. And yes, billions at the least.

They're doing something different with this game. After each game, it'll switch up the host. In other words, if you pull host every damn game, you're going to have it one game then it's going to switch it up. That's sort of good and bad, but I'll have to see how it works out once the game drops.

Maybe they should increase the price of MW3's map packs to $20 a piece.

Apparently gamestop got cut off from hardened editions so they aren't taking anymore hardened edition preorders. Hopefully someone decides to not get hardened edition when it comes out :/

I'm sure the gun manufacturer has a process or something in regards to naming them. Something like the 1911, could be in a long series of tests before that was the actual model they settled on made.

I'm glad they're balancing a lot of things. Like the specialist loadout, you can't use kill streaks but in return, you're a super soldier if you can get 8 kills.

Wow.......that's a dumb move. Advanced UAV should show people with assassin. What's the point of the advanced uav if it can't show people that have assassin?

No clue, it's basically like a blackbird from Black Ops but it doesn't show you where they are/looking at for 45 seconds, it just updates every 3 seconds. =/

At least assassin is rivalled by other perks in it's own respective tier slot.

And same, I only used the blackbird in Black Ops so I could enter ghostbusters mode.

The advanced UAV lets you see where your enemies (who aren't using assassin...) are and what direction they're facing, but only for every 3 seconds when the advanced UAV sweeps the mini-map. It's basically a toned down blackbird.

Black ops with stopping power, hooray. Keep rewarding the dumb ****s who play these games with a perk that allows you to run around the map however you want with no penalty, yay! Both fun and super skillful.

IMO, the worst perk in MW3 will be Extreme Conditioning since it's no longer infinite sprinting like in MWTF2.

Most people who used it in Blops will stick with it regardless of the other perks imo

Well, they still have to give up the other good perks if they want to remain off the radar and stuff. It's not like in black ops where this is no reason why you shouldn't use ghost.

I predict that most people will use:

tier 1 - soh or blind eye
tier 2 - they're all good
tier 3 - sitrep, dead silence (yes, they both cancel each other out) or steady aim

I can now say with the utmost confidence that trollarch has forever ruined the CoD series with Black Ops. Now you see a lot more UAV jammer users in CoD4 and CB users in MW2.

I hope MW3 is good.

uav jammer and cold blooded aren't overpowered in cod4 and mw2, stopping power puts it in check. Plus people have used cold blooded in mw2 before, you only notice it now because of black ops. And the CoD series isn't "forever" ruined. And Black Ops wasn't that bad, I'll take ghost over OMA tubes anyday of the week. And even though Assassin is overpowered in MW3, at least it has other perks in the same tier that are also good.

After I read that tweet about recon cancelling assassin, I'm sort of interested in the recon perk. If it actually does a good job of countering assassin, I'll definitely be using it.

Agreed, SP did keep them in check. I'll miss juggernaut from cod4 tho...pisses off snipers.

And I stand by my statement, people will now continue to use the stealth perks cause of black ops. No, and I'm the complete opposite.
