So I been lookin at some posts as of late (no internet for a bit) I see model hackings easier and the you can now use other char animations? and anyone know of the cloning thing working, non working...ANYthing at all? and wth is brawlbox?
anyone?....

Thanks! I did the same thing for lucario- or should I say mewtwo now... My only regret is that I cannot replace the name strip that shows over the CSPs... I tried with BrawlBox and it didn't work :/

HEY ITS ROY!!! wow i feel stupid right now i noticed after seeing it like 3 times (for probably a total time of 15 min spent looking at it wow)
LOL! someone on the mewtwo topic (i made one like this, but for mewtwo) noticed there were 2 warios... I lol'd. anyone know how to edit the name strip that goes across the CSPs?

With PSA stuff, can't we modify some of Rarth's stuff to make him more like Roy? I believe it was Oni K4ge actually who did the Roy hack with codes, but it'd be a lot better doing it with model sizes - We could attach it to textures.

yes it was me ^_^ very good idea, but all we can do is increase/decreae the size of the character overall.

Shorter, more spiky hair... Which should now be possible! It also seems like someone went and figured out how to replace sounds...meaning we can finally have Roy sound like Roy, play like Roy, and look like Roy. Now all I need is skins for every character that are Roy based...

That's a good idea. But remember - You can actually edit the size of individual parts, so we CAN make the sword bigger, Rarth shorter, etc.

Importing the head would be interesting, I wonder if they'd match well enough.

Oh, okay. The let's try your idea. But I do think just seeing marth with ike's head would be cool, or maybe funny xD

so i say make rarth about 99% marth's height and the sword about 101% of marths? but wouldn't that effect balancing issues?

I think knowing exactly what you changed, and how much you changed everything would be easier to use.

oh okay (sorry for late response, I've been sick X_X)

I changed:
overall height
hilt of the sword
the ends of the cape
deleted the sheathe
enlarged shoulder pads

that's it :p

how do you set up csp portraits? what do you name them
CSPs must be injected into a common5.pac. The best way to do this is BrawlScape. Simply right click on the CSP in brawlscape and import a CSP that you have made (do not put any black background or magenta, leave the background transparent) and bam.

theres a thread here, and what it is basically... well, just read the thread look for the title "BrawlScape 0.06" and then something about SSE stages. It isn't too far behind in the pages.

Soo..anyone working on replacing Marth's sounds with Roy's? Also how's the Roy model/animations coming along?

Also the 3rd up hit of his DED and the 3rd hit of his up smash IF you can hit those jus puttin out there
Actually, all hits of u-smash spike at the tip, except for the last hit.

So that would give him 4 spikes... d-air if the opponent is overlapping Roy, b-air tip (which I'm still a bit skeptical about), 3rd up hit of DED, and u-smash tip for the first 4 hits.

Oh yea since we can use other chars animations wuts up with Ikes Fsmach for Roys neutral B?
I tried this, and unfortunately it didn't work out how I had hoped. Since Marth holds his sword differently than Ike, he ends up holding the sword at a weird angle when he swings, so it doesn't really work.

I read once about a diferent way of using customes via SD..Like, you pressed R when choosing and got in game and you'd be wearing the Alternate Custome you set for that colour, if you hadn't pushed R, you'd just get in game with the original costume, isn't that possible with the FitMarth.pac? That'd sort of be the way to "have them both playable"

How do I put in the .pcs file? When I put it in rsbe/pf/marth and rename it to fitmarth02.pcs it doesn't work. I still get the green Marth. Or do I need to name it fitMarth01?

well, you SHOULD make it replace the red costume imo, it fits better. do you have the file patcher code on?

Since it seems the original poster isn't supporting Roy any more, and this topic is now 12^2 pages long, is there a more recent version of Roy than the one in the OP? Can anyone link to it?

In return, I will make Roy recolors for every Marth costume, CSPs, battle portraits, stock portraits, CSP name, battle portrait name, character select screen portrait, and character select screen name. (I.E. get that git Marth offa ROY'S BRAWL)

Well, I fixed the taunt, but for some reason it wont read that he's supposed to put his sword away, like, it plays the animation correctly, but his sword remains in his hand X_X So idk what to tell you guys, sorry, I tried :( but heres the one with the FIXED DTaunt http://www.mediafire.com/file/ujmy5qmymy0/FitMarthRoyRevamp11.pac

We can alter bones now, so maybe somebody with the technical expertise (and/or time) can figure out how to make that work?
