Those are necessary because those characters are so charismatic and great, this is why they are worth voting.

I'm with Logo12 here.
Over half of these have definitely been voted for, and there isn't really a need for this.
There's tons of threads concerning DLC characters and the Ballot.

I only see several obvious joke items (eShop Bag), some versions of existent character (Fire Peach, Shadow Queen, Classic Sonic), antagonist of unrepresented series (Octolings), and so on. If not then the rest of them are actually voted by some already. Why are they even "worth voting" (and how is this piece of opinion determined anyway?)

Some of these characters aren't voted for a reason.
Niko not being on a Nintendo system. Travis being a fan character.
Those 2 in particular shouldn't be voted for but at least 1 person will.
