So what are the details of this Manchester thing I've been reading about lately? I'll be home from school and back in CT for the summer by tomorrow, so it's time to start going to CT tournaments. I don't think I'll be able to go to the May 11 tournie in Stratford (even though I live there), so I would go to Manchester this Saturday if I can figure out all the details. Only bad thing is that I may not be able to play from now until then, so I could be a bit rusty. Nothing a few friendlies couldn't fix though.

I believe it is not a tournament...people are just meeting up to play around 4:00...I think...

I am not in CT right now, so I don't really know haha.

yeah we're just meeting up to play around. Nus is showing up around 4pm everyone else is probably getting there earlier. I'll be there around 4pm.

if we were to do crews like that, the best would be TICOTRC (me bloo dorf and ed@%) v. ghostbusters (aiser spawn nus and v)

ironic. Marth ditto, falco ditto, fox ditto, and sheik ditto.

not going to pcga saturday, most likely busy. however i agree, [VI]NESTICLE needs to come asap, any time really except for June 22-24

You haven't even seen my new marth ace, lol. It still sucks a little, especially vs sheik but it's getting there I think...

I can't tell cause all the people I've played recently doesn't help me see if my marth is actually getting better. Cort doesn't count cause he owns my everything, Ray doesn't count cause he's semi-new, JV doesn't count cause he was rarely using peach and playing like... link, V doesn't count cause he sucks, milktea doesn't count cause we only played dittos once and that can't help me see if I got better, everyone else was over a month ago so they all don't count. >_>

I asked for like every march/april weekend off and they were getting angry and so many people wanted this Saturday off for some reason; they asked first. =( But good luck Cort, beat pc again and stuff.

Yeah, I told nesskid Cort could probably take out the majority of "the other" crew. lol

New crew in CT? o.O We'd still win.

Hey, Aiser.. would it be possible for you to get a ride to my house on Friday? Also, if we do go and play at Lock's... I don't think I'll be leaving my house until like 5/5:30ish (that's when my dad is going to be back from work and noone is going to be home before that)... but we'd get to stay until like 11 so it all works out.

I can probably pick you guys up earlier than what Brian told you. I wish I could go to Long Island Cort, but nobody can give me a ride :dizzy: .

Oh and I guess I have a ton of work to do this weekend, so that's another reason.

To beat Nus' Marth you just need to run and upsmash...he short hops too much without attacking. Stupid Marth.

I am maining Peach and Puff from now on ^^

So I've heard the terms PCGA and also Manchester for saturday. Are these the same thing? Is the Manchester get together an open invitation? I'd go hang out and play Smash with you guys if you didn't mind a newcomer.

I know it may be weird for someone you've never met to come to your home or wherever you're hosting, so I can obviously understand if you're uncomfortable with that. I'll meet you guys at a tournament eventually, so if this weekend doesn't work then maybe some other time.

If this PCGA thing is an actual tournament of some kind I could do that too, but I can't seem to find any information about anything for this saturday, though I did find some threads for past PCGA events.

Point of post: I want to play Smash omg!

Budai, PCGA is just the name of the store at manchester. We're meeting in buckland hills mall at PCGA(pc gaming arena) aka battlegrounds to play, someone just needs to call the guy! Anyways I wouldn't care if you came to my house randomly, a lot of people have been doing it lately. Some of you need to remember to pick up your controllers though, I have like a million right now.

Alright changed username from hissatsu2k9 (what I use for everything else) to my actuall smash name MikeMoney feel like a nub for not having it that way in the first place but never realized how big smashboards was /slap

Heyyy whoa. You're from Stratford? Do you know anyone named Angelo, Scott, Richard, Adam? They play, or rather, used to play, Falco, Jigglypuff, Samus, ICs, Fox.

@ MikeMoney, I feel your pain. I'm stuck with the name milktea now, oh well, at least it's cute :).

Yeah I'm from Stratford, though I've never really played against anyone else from around here. I do know some people by those names, but I'd have to hear their last names to see if I actually know them. If they're between the ages of about 18-22 and went to one of the public high schools in Stratford then I probably know who they are or at least know someone who knows them.

The PCGA thing sounds cool though. I'll probably be bored this weekend (girlfriend won't be home from school until next week) so I'd drive an hour to go play smash for while. Unfortunately, I don't have a GC or a copy of Smash with me so I can't help in that department, but if that gets all worked out and it's definitely gonna happen, then I'll go.

Yeah I plan on doing that during the summer, but next Friday is my 21st birthday, so I may be out doing something else that night. If I can't find anything good to do I'll go (not that Smash isn't good, lolz), or maybe I'll stop by sometime that night anyway.
