when I play zelda I end up trying the peach style dashattack vs grab approach.

Now obviously zelda's dash attack isnt nearly as good, and her grab is slow.

I don't really know how to approach with this character? spread some ideas around :)

I just get close and wait for an opening. The dash dance to grab/dash attack is an option. You can pressure with f-smash and f-tilt. Those are really hard to punish out of a shield. I think it's all about pressure by spacing.

On PS you can teleport towards your opponent at the start of the match for a sucker punch and since its properly spaced you'll automatically edge cancel the up+b giving you a chance to throw in a free lightning kick

If Zelda had a gun, she would be cool.

If Zelda were a warrior, she'd be Sheik.

If Zelda could fly on a rainbow, she'd be a unicorn.

If Zelda could win tournaments, she'd have a trophy.

If Zelda had a legitimate approach, she'd have more brownie points.

Yeah, seriously that best approach she has is to mindgame some sort of nonexistent opening to bait an attack.

Teleporting can lead them into thinking they can punish you lag, DD again, also do empty shorthops and waveland those back to coerce a frantic smash.

Against fast characters you really dont have much choice, but to sit and wait, or you could ban big stages.

Yeah it's a sad world when Fox is safe to dash are you with a shield. and if he feels a grab is coming he can simply hit down and spot dodge easily. And even if he guessed wrong on the grab. his spot dodge will probably dodge the attack anyways.

dash dance across the stage. If Fox camps, dash attack lol. If you predict him to run past you, or jump above you/onto a platform, use an aerial to intercept.

Or use down+b. That's always a viable option.
