Dedede has invincibility frames

Near the end of the video, when Ike is shooting a cracker launcher, Dedede simply sits and does nothing. Notice how he is not being knocked away.


Does this mean that Dedede himself can resist some items, though being damaged?

umm man, get with the picture, they're called super armor frames , every heavy character has these where they take damage but cant flinch.
