Zev, Chill the F**k out. SOS knows I'm only joking. We've been friends for years and we've trash talked to each other many times. I'm not being disrespectful, I'm just having fun. I know he doesn't care. If he beats me, he'll rub it in my face and I'll let him. That's just how it is. And I've only told a couple people about those vids.
And I never ever said he sucked. All I said was that based on those vids he seemed like he wasn't as good as I remembered. Seriously, I appreciate you trying to teach me the error of my ways, but SOS and I go way back, and neither of us care if one bashes the other. SOS is too cool to worry about that.
matt, i dont need to chill out, as everything i said above was in a cool and calm demeanor. youve asked me time and time again to let you know when to "shut up" and stuff like, remember all the old naruto ****, and then the time at jester when you said you appreciated how david and i told you to better yourself and not how others did? well im doing it yet again.
whether you are buddy buddy with SOS or not, you are saying some hurtful things behind his back to your fellow Texans. how are we supposed to know your relationship with him? all we get out of it is something along the lines of: "**** man, why are you being so harsh/jerkish/arrogant/etc etc." i saw the nonsense going on youtube and you are only hurting yourself more when you say things like "My DK gets FLT's Marth to 1 stock, and beats every other Marth in TX." Matt, come on, even i have started to beat you DK, not consistently of course, but i am definitely giving you a run for your money, so to speak. By saying that you can bring Wes's Marth to 1 stock (without any stipulations), you are hyping yourself up and making yourself look like an ***. Not only do you hardly ever play Wes, let alone in a tournament, you hardly ever beat him. That sounds harsh, but its the truth, Wes is a prodigy, just too good. Only a select few, esp Texas, can beat him, especially consistently.
Also, saying things like this is just wrong as well, "Emerican has a pretty good Falcon, but the SOS I knew would've won handily." When you showed me that vid, you said "and this falcon isn't really that good anyway. I'd say just a little better than mine, and I don't have one, lol." Not only are you going back on yourself, being a hypocrite, you are bashing some1 else's skill based off one vid youve seen.
You are also assuming that since SOS used to be so amazing when he was in TX, that every1 else he plays, people you dont know, must not be good when you really have no idea. Its like when you used to say things like "If its an itachi or kimi, then ill win" when referencing matches in Naruto. You played me a lot and felt that my itachi and kimi were very good, so much so that you instantly labeled every1 else's itachi/kimi as obsolete, solely because you would lose to mine. Not only do you come off as an ***, but you are also making me look like a god or some ****. If i were to play some1, and lose, it would make me look arrogant when i had no association with your "praise" for me. Same thing goes for SOS, that guy is bashing him now though he doesnt know that he used to be awesome and what not. He also started bashing Wes's marth, etc etc.
I am just trying to show you something about yourself. I dont know if you noticed, but when we have played smash the last couple of times, i have been incredibly silent. Lately you have been making me incredibly frustrated. Whenever we play together, lets say Marth vs DK, im sure you go in thinking you are going to win, but i cant blame you on that part, overall, you are better than me right now. But when you complain and shrug and sigh and all this different stuff when every tiny little thing goes wrong, it gets really annoying matt. So much so that i dont know if i can/want to play with you alone anymore. i just cant stand it. and then after a match of you barely winning, you just let out a sigh of relief. you also say things like "your style is really weird" which is limiting my skill. saying that you only lost to me because my style is awkward is totally unfair to me. i have to go right now, so im cutting it short. peace
**edit** i was gonna separate it out and such, but my roommate and i wanted to go to Kerbey Lane, so i just stopped writing, but i think i got most of what i wanted to say out, and now i made it a little easier on the eyes. Matt, i recommend you reread it again.
Btw, Austin better than I am. Also, if you put me in vs any Marth, I can guarantee a victory.
