Diddy or Link PROS point of view

Me and my friend are arguing, please explain who is better

The general impression of SSB Link was, IIRC, "slightly" better than in Melee. He kinda sucked in Melee, so, shouldn't be too hard to top that <__<

Link will always be average. Diddy seems to be a combo machine.

Link's improved since the last game, and he looks good.
However Diddy's looks insane in his speed and combos.

Nothing can say for sure.

There is actually a match on youtube of Diddy vs. Link.
But that is not a valid excuse.

When played to their full potential however, they are kind of equal.
Diddy has been compared to Melee's Mario, which at full strength, is truely powerful.

I mained Dr. Mario for a couple of years, and when I look at the Diddy videos he reminds me of the Doc...the way he combos, air moves especially.

Also, do you have a link to that Diddy VS Link video? I think I may have seen it before but I'm not sure.
